We ended the final week of the tour in Kyoto & Osaka, two places I've spent quite some time on previous trips and they always feel welcoming. It really was the perfect closing of an intensely beautiful month. I am grateful for the entire experience and everyone that either booked us, taught us something, or showed us their kindness and sincere apprecation. I thank you all, this adventure was humbling! ๐๐๐ป
I've already gotten back to Amsterdam a few days ago, but today it feels like I fully landed and mentally finished the Japan tour.. ๐

Love coming home from this whole month of touring and now finally discovering what's really on all the found records. It's been such a good trip on every level, much love to all the great shops I came across and to everyone that gifted me a record as well.

It's been an absolutely incredible full month of touring through Japan. Did 10 DJ sets in 5 cities. In the first half I had my guys from with me, which was truly epic to have done for a 1st time, bringing a band from Amsterdam. We did it, fam. More of this! ๐
Last night I closed the tour with a really special set at the exquisite where and I played 6 hours together, 100% vinyl. Doing this gig was already a big deal to me, because he's been such an inspiration for many years. But when he asked me a few weeks ago if I was able to do this, because I brought no records from back home, I took the challenge. Which meant I had to spend a lot of time diggin' for the right gems to do this set. Thankfully Japan is filled with topnotch record stores, so I just trusted my taste and instincts to find what was needed. ๐ง๐

The days, nights and city's are definitely blurring a bit at the moment. But the past week in Osaka was filled with wonderful moments again. From playing at and Freedom Time at, having my brother there as well. To the listening session at, spending a few nights at my fav listening bar with top selector, and of course, lots of record diggin again.
