Od srca želim zahvaliti svim izbornicima, trenerima i ljudima koji su uz reprezentaciju, i koji su nam uvijek velika podrška.
Svi smo kao dječaci sanjali biti dio hrvatske reprezentacije, pa osjećam uistinu veliku privilegiju što sam imao čast predstavljati svoju domovinu i ponosno nositi hrvatsku šahovnicu na prsima.
Bilo je pobjeda i poraza, uspjeha i neuspjeha, ali u svome srcu nosim samo najljepše trenutke kojih je bilo jako puno. Naravno, posebno mjesto u mom srcu zauvijek će imati Svjetsko prvenstvo u Rusiji te sam ponosan što sam bio dio ekipe koja je ostvarila najveći uspjeh u povijesti hrvatskog nogometa.
Hvala svim navijačima na podršci i na ovom pamtljivom trenutku na “mom” Poljudu, a ja se sada pridružujem svima koji na tribinama i uz male ekrane svim srcem stoje uz reprezentaciju.
