I have finally started to get some snagging jobs done and this table was on my to-do list for a long time. Summer holidays are in full swing, the house is full and I feel like I’m constantly feeding the troops and cleaning up 😵💫

I am so happy to have completed my first solo wallpapering project 🙃 My Mum is usually my go-to for this as she’s so good at it but I wanted to try it on my own and couldn’t be happier with the result 💕 The fact that the wallpaper comes in pre-measured and numbered strips that you cut from a roll and hang made it so straightforward. Thank you 🙏🏻 I chose the beautiful Beatrice design as it is timeless, perfect for our period home and I knew it would brighten up the smallest room in the house perfectly! What do you think? Any news with you? I feel like I’ve blinked and a week has passed at the minute 🙃 Patrick had a little op last week so I was on 👩⚕️ duties and this week is a write off for my projects so I haven’t made any progress on the house at all 🤭
The best thing we did when we renovated the kitchen was to connect it to our outdoor spaces. When we moved in this room had no door out to the garden and it drove me insane as the garden felt so far away! Adding the French doors made the patio an extension to our living area and brings the garden closer to the house. It was so important to me to have continuity between the two so the colours inside very much reflect the colours outside. Being able to step out to this in the warmer months is one of my favourite things about the house and we’re edging ever closer to that aren’t we? ☀️🌷🌱
