Ich wollte mir selbst beweisen, dass ich einen Halbmarathon nur mit der Stärke meines Kopfes schaffen kann - ohne Training oder Vorbereitungen – und das habe ich mir bewiesen. Manchmal reicht die mentale Stärke allein nicht aus, und man braucht einen greifbaren Erfolg, und zu sehen was wirklich in einem steckt und das war dieser Wettkampf. Ich wusste von vornherein, dass ich das sowieso schaffe – daher keine Zweifel, keine negativen Gedanken, keine Aufregung. Ich war einfach nur klar im Moment. Genau das versuche ich auf mein Leben zu übertragen.
