How to prevent fraud from happening to you or your small business. We needed to share this info asap because we didn’t want another business to have to go through what we are currently going through with.

It’s easy to miss things when running a business but when something strange is happening to your accounts — DONT AVOID IT! Check on every account you have. We are currently trying to undo the $33,400 charges that were taken out in our name.

I want to acknowledge that this is nothing compared to what’s happening in the world right now and this isn’t being posted as regular “content”. It is such a minor problem compared to the horrors we’ve been facing for the last year and a half (and honestly before too.)We just needed to share this incase it could help another small business. We’re already all struggling so we just want to do anything to help each other out.
We originally found it (without realizing it was Schiaparelli) in 2020 when we purchased the contents of a storage unit. The unit belonged to a man who had previously owned a vintage shop on Belmont ave in Boystown and had unfortunately passed away. The unit reportedly remained untouched for over 10 years before it was finally sold to someone who then sold us the collection of women’s clothing it contained (details are a bit murky on how he got the unit)

In the fall of 2025, while prepping for the Renegade Craft Fair and sorting through our coat inventory, I tried on this beautiful brown lamb fur coat and finally spotted what was written in the interior label and lining, it was designed by my favorite designer, Schiaparelli! We realized we had been sitting on this treasure for years.

The coat had been stored in one of the large bags of fur coats we acquired from that purchase, and we are still working our way through the remaining pieces from that storage unit. We’re honored to have this beautiful piece in our collection until it finds it’s new home.
Vintage Elsa Schiaparelli 1950s Southwest African Persian Lamb coat in beautiful condition. Size L. The coat goes live on our site tonight at 7pm and available at our Division st shop tomorrow, Friday Jan 9th.
Coming soon… one of our most treasured finds. A 1950s Schiaparelli piece.
Happy New Year from twinning lost girls! We wanted to just take a moment and tell you something that’s kind of crazy - we ended 2025 with a small increase in profit from 2024.. and that is absolutely insane. Last year broke so many people we are grateful everyday that we’re still in business. Since 2022 we’ve been operating at a negative knowing that we can make it out we just had to hold on. We knew that we just needed to tweak a couple of things. This is the FIRST year that it actually happened. This is the first year since 2022 that our little sales graph went UP which means we made a little bit more, which then means we can start paying things off.

I’m not sure if this makes any sense to yall, but it’s a good thing. A HUGE factor was us moving to Division st. Another big factor is our team and the systems that they’ve put in place to help us keep the business organized. The reality is, this is our first time running a business and we don’t know everything. They help us troubleshoot and figure it out.

Another massive factor is YOU! Holy sh*t you all! You’re amazing!!!! When we think about our customers we get seriously emotional. We asked for support and you came out and supported us. We have the best BEST customers. We’re truly just so lucky. There was a point (when Logan Square was under construction) that we were really scared that we would have to make some hard choices about that shop location, but because of you we could actually pay rent and our staff during those months! (That’s all we could pay but that’s ok!)

Anyway, long story short, we made it another year thanks to you and we wanted to tell you how ridiculously grateful we are for that. We look at every sale and they still make us so happy.

26 is our lucky number - we launched LGV April 26th 2013 - so we are determined to make it the best year we’ve ever had.

Lots of love!
Sarah, Kyla, and Kyla’s little guy ❤️❤️❤️
Hi sweet friends! It’s been a crazy year and I really want to get into the details of it in a later post but for now I just want to say thank you. Thank you from everyone on our team. Thank you from our families and loved ones. Because of you our doors stay open another day! ❤️ We’ll be open 11-4p today (Dec 31st) and closed Jan 1st. We hope you have a restful and rejuvenating New Year.
Every year we each pick a word that we want to focus on in the coming year. For 2025 it was “reset” for me (Sarah) with the color green as the color symbol for it. The idea behind the word reset was to be able to start fresh in so many different ways. 2024 left me burnt out and sad! Now with the new year I feel ready to take on more!! What are your yearly traditions?
