There were many reasons this felt like the best season yet. Yes, the fashion. But also that after 5 seasons the audience is still getting to know our protagonist and form a deeper connection with her. Mostly by watching her gain a deeper understanding of herself ❤️

As usual, every detail was perfect (I can’t get over that even the helmet and Vespa perfectly matched her ensemble). As for the fashion - Marylin did a great job carefully mixing Italian designers with French, reminding us that Emily’s heart is very much tied to both worlds. From the Michele Jumpsuit by (who has long emphasized both Italian and French textiles), to shoes by iconic Italian footwear designer, and a leather bag by Italian luxury brand. And just when you think it can’t get more Italian - they filmed part of this scene at the flagship store!
Just a marvelous job by the whole team:

Note about the Shoes:
The exact pair are from an older collection and the best image I could procure of the precise model + color combo (with the mirror-effect finish) is on the collage at the end. Since this popular style is available in a similar silver leather, I used that on the product slide so you could better appreciate the beautiful silhouette!
