I have been curious to try lino cutting/block printing for a while, finally decided to have a go at it last week. And I can't stop, mark making has been extremely meditative for me to do. Some blocks take me hours to finish and some take me minutes. But every minute spent in this process has brought me so much joy. This print is a recreation of an illustration I did 5 years back.

The thing I have enjoyed the most about this book is that there is no end point to the story, for the longest time I have leaned towards books that had a definitive end point to it. But over the years I have come to appreciate books that don't lead to anywhere, where the thoughts of the protagonists merge into yours and where the monologues start to sound being familiar to the ones of your own. This is one of those books, keen to now pickup the other books by Ali Smith in this series.

It's raining here today in Sydney, which is a weather I absolutely love because it reminds me of home. It's hard to not associate rains with Mumbai if you have lived there long enough~

I am so excited to see where the possibilities of these pages lead me to, for now I am loving the process of putting a podcast on & facing the blank sheet of paper with 0 expectations of trying to create something perfect.
