being a perfectionist myself, I often notice how much it influences various aspects of my life. having high expectations for myself adds pressure, and sometimes it’s just too much to handle
no one is perfect, and it’s not wrong to have expectations. however, there are times when they become overwhelming to the extent that they feel like an obligation rather than an aspiration
that’s when I try to choose to care for myself instead of pushing harder, and when I learn to learn to let go
because doing something is better than not doing it just because you feel it’s not good enough🤍
