She made two Downhill Training Runs and I’ll always remember that she danced at the start with her team and the smile she had in the finish after her 2nd DH Training Run. That showed the love she has for skiing and what a great teammate she was.
On the day of the Olympic Downhill she gave all she had and risked all for her dream! It was not how we all imagined that it would be and I was in shock after this crash. I always knew that she could crash anytime but it’s different when it really happens and brought back all the memories from Schladming in 2013 when I was in the finish & saw the helicopter with Lindsey flying above me.
We should take Lindseys braveness as an example to always keep following our dreams because when we don’t try we’ll never know what could have been. Lindsey congrats on everything you achieved during your Comeback 👏🏻 You showed everyone to never stop believing! I’m proud of you! I enjoyed every minute of your Comeback and will remember all the good times! I wish you from my heart that your recovery continues to go well & that you’re not in too much pain.
