💭Although there is an obvious knock knee deformity, external femoral rotation (retroversion) is also present.
🦵Only correcting the knock knees would not fix this patient’s issue.
⚒Instead I simultaneously corrected the rotation and the valgus, this resulted in a normal alignment and solved all of my patient’s complaints.
😄Always be on the lookout for rotational deformities!

⚒ Due to the extreme degree of deformity, both tibias and the left femur needed correction.
I corrected the alignment, fixed the joint, and remedied the LLD
