YES, I DO!
After losing 40 kilos naturally, of course I do.
Do I love the loose skin on my stomach, thighs, and arms? No.
But I love being stronger.
I love having more energy.
I love being able to move freely.
I love what my body can do now.
So if you’re worried about loose skin, remember this:
The question isn’t whether you’ll have loose skin.
The question is whether you’d trade your future health, strength, and freedom to avoid it.
For me, the answer is easy.
[loose skin, weight loss journey, non scale victories, fat loss wins, post losing weight, sagging skin, health over aesthetics, lift heavy, weight training, women’s fitness]
These include:
👉 Pulling down my t-shirt every time (and sucking in my tummy)
👉 Covering my stomach with a pillow when I sit (to hide it, of course)
👉 Choosing the aisle seat in airplanes/autos (because more space)
👉 Picking a 2XL size and praying it fits (can’t have another X on there 😭)
👉 Mentally calculating if the seating space is enough (for my huge legs)
👉 Tensing my quads when I sit so my legs don’t just spread out (sounds crazy, right?)
👉 Knowing exactly which jeans won’t rip when I put them on (American Eagle FTW)
👉 Controlling my eating (in front of others) and then eating a second meal at home (I was still hungry)
👉 Looking at the max. capacity in a lift and calculating how much space I took up
👉 Getting petrified to check my weight (I still hate going to doctors for that reason)
Now that I look back, I realise how exhausting I made it for myself to exist. I’ve broken some of these habits, but so many of them are ingrained in me and I can’t seem to stop 🙂↔️
Funny how I lost the weight, but I never lost the shame. I hope we all stop apologising for taking up space that is ours 💓

You can do bariatric surgery, you can get liposuction, you can take Ozempic, you can do it naturally - but you need to lose the weight well.
Good weight loss means:
- It’s sustainable, slow and steady
- It’s easy to maintain over time
- It doesn’t make you look deflated
So whatever way you choose, you still have to do the following:
⬆️ Prioritize your protein (don’t skip carbs tho)
🏋️♀️ Lift weights 3-4 times a week to maintain muscle
🏃♀️ Do your cardio - I cannot stress this enough
🥊 Change your mindset - associate fitness with fun
💪 Never give up - the most important tip!

30-MINUTE PAN PIZZA 🍕 (546 KCal - 69C / 25P / 23F)
Note: The dough alone has 269Kcal - 47C / 10P / 6F. You can calculate sauce, topping and cheese separately!
RECIPE:
For Pizza Dough (2 servings) -
Mix 1 cup whole wheat flour with 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 0.5 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp baking powder and salt to taste. Let it rest.
For Tomato Sauce (2 servings) -
Roast 2 large tomatoes and 4-6 cloves of garlic with 0.5 tsp of olive oil for 30 minutes at 180 degrees and then grind. You can also do this on stove top. Store this for up to 3-4 days.
Toppings -
I used my roasted veggies recipe (linked in the reel), 2 tbsp of shredded pizza cheese, 50g low-fat paneer and some fresh basil.
Making the Pizza:
- Dust a clean surface with flour.
- Take a ball of pizza dough and coat in the flour.
- Roll it out till it’s even. For pan pizza texture, it should 1/2 an inch. You can also roll it thinner.
- Heat up a pan till hot and brush with olive oil.
- Sprinkle some suji or rava on the pan - makes the pizza crust crispy.
- Add the crust to the pan, start topping with pizza sauce, veggies, cheese.
- Cover to cook on a low heat for 5-7 minutes or till the cheese melts.
- Check the crust (should be golden brown) and take it off the pan.
I actually made it in the oven as well and I preferred the stove top version! Make it NOW 🍕 I swear you’ll love it.

Versatile Roasted Veggies (154 KCal - 24C/ 6P / 5F)
INGREDIENTS (6 servings)
🥗 10 cups of assorted veggies
(I used broccoli, zucchini, bell peppers, onions. You can add sweet potato, carrots, green beans, cherry tomatoes too.)
🌟 2 tbsp olive oil
🍯 1/2 tbsp honey
👉 Salt to taste, 2 tsp pepper, 2 tsp cumin powder
METHOD:
- Wash and chop all your veggies. Broccoli in big florets, onions in chunks, bell peppers in diamonds, zucchini in half crescents and root veggies in small cubes.
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
- Drizzle the olive oil and honey, season with salt and spices and give it a good mix.
- Lay it out on a tray in a single layer - do not crowd it.
- Let it bake for 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye on it. I took out the broccoli early because they were ready.
- TIP: Rotate your trays 180 degrees at the halfway mark.
- Once the veggies are caramelised with crispy bits, store them in the fridge for upto 4 days.
Use them in sandwiches, salads, pasta, wraps, or just grate some cheese on top and melt it for a nice snack!
Recipes using these coming up soon 😉

Girl dads go through quite a bit but I know they wouldn’t have it any other way!
Send this to your dad and tell me what his reaction is 🤪 🧿

Well, I’m 34 now, completely fit, fine and devoid of any health problems 🧿 I’m thankful for 27-year-old Gayathri for taking that warning seriously and actually doing something about it.
Sure, while I flex my ok-ok muscles - there are people with much more aesthetically pleasing physiques - I am proud of my progress 😇
I felt my starting point was on the negative side of the axis, not even at 0. And I’m so much more positive now. Literally 🤣

I could be working out every single day but if I’m eating more than required, it will have a bad effect on me! 😔
And I’m not saying that just in terms of weight gain - it makes me lethargic, bloated, uneasy and messes up my digestion 😥 LOL 30s are fun.
Here’s my top tips to control portion sizes:
🥘 Cook just as much as you should eat - if meal prepping, pack in individual boxes per meal
🥘 Always wait before you take another portion - I eat hot and fresh dosas, by the time I’m done with 3, I can’t eat the 4th
🥘 Use fillers - I like having a salad or dahi along with the meal which fills me up
🥘 Eat on time - the more you delay your meals, the more you’ll snack or overeat
Tell me what item you find the hardest to resist - for me, it’s South Indian food 🤣
