If you’re thinking about Lapland with kids, Nellim is calm, magical and family friendly.
We loved how peaceful and remote it is right on a frozen Lake. No busy crowds, just snowy forests, cosy cabins and the kind of quiet you don’t realise you need until you’re there.
👨👩👧👦 With kids:
Everything felt safe, unhurried and well thought out. The staff were incredible with children, and excursions were small groups which made such a difference.
✨ Our highlights:
• Watching the sky for the Northern Lights with zero light pollution
• Cosy evenings warming up after snow adventures
• Seeing the kids completely in awe of the Arctic landscape and looking out for animals in nature
🧣 Parent tip:
Thermal suits are provided which meant we could relax knowing everyone stayed warm, even in proper Lapland temperatures of -30. The chefs will make up food for the kids, Myles requested plain pasta with cheese which was made fresh.
