Five years ago in Paris, Jurie asked me to be his girlfriend. 😌 And since then, we went from long-distance relationship > living both in Amsterdam > moving together > spending 24/7 together while travelling Asia for 6 months > moving back to Amsterdam > and lately getting engaged! So this called for a nice afternoon in Amsterdam's center with beautiful canal views, drinks and a nice meal! 💕
How gorgeous are our towels tho?! 🌠 We absolutely love those towels and use them for everything: beach days, drinks sitting next to a canal, workouts at the park or simply... to decorate our apartment because their designs are so pretty! 😋

Are you trying to be less on your phone?
📲 You can check your screen time in the settings of your phone and -spoiler alert - your probably spend more time than you thought. After watching the Netflix documentary, I had a look at mine and it left a sour taste in my mouth. Even on holidays, I end up getting sucked in mindless scrolling through Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok... while I could be spending time learning new skills, reading a book, growing my business or... simply being more present.
Some actions I've taken to try to reduce my phone usage:
🌠 Turn off all my notifications except for the ones in relation to actual human interactions with my friends and family: WhatsApp, messenger...
🌅 When I wake up: only use my phone to listen to podcasts or music
🌙 Before bed: read a book and restrain myself from endlessly scrolling on instagram. During those scrolling sessions: I sometimes end up on accounts that have a bad influence on my mental health or body image so this is really a WIN-WIN.
👫🏼 No phones on dates with my boy, friends or family. Focus on quality moments and deeper conversations.
