Afgelopen dinsdag is de laatste aflevering van “Luuk en Lieke opzoek naar zichzelf” online gekomen.
1,5 jaar geleden ontstond het idee om dit te gaan maken, na enige corona uitstel zijn we afgelopen mei samen met (productie) en (camera) naar Bali gevlogen.
We bedachten, maakte, regelde én financierde alles zelf; als niemand ons een podium geeft, dan bouwen we hem zelf maar!
We wilde een puur programma maken, een programma die de echte wereld weerspiegelt. True colors. Een verhaal is alleen aannemelijk als de verteller zich kwetsbaar, open en eerlijk opstelt. And so we did. Wij geloofde er in dat het ook in deze tijd, waarin mensen vooral gaan voor snelle en grappige content (I blame tikkietok), het nog mogelijk is om een niet gescript en/ of gestaged programma te maken. Met als doel: mensen laten zien dat de struggles in het leven besproken mogen worden en ook absoluut oplosbaar zijn.
Om het uiteindelijk zonder jou, jij die harder aan dit project heeft gewerkt dan wie dan ook, af te moeten maken, doet heel veel pijn💔
Ik zou zo graag alle fijne reacties samen met jou in ontvangst nemen, samen met jou onze fijne tijd daar herbeleven, samen met jou de afleveringen kijken en samen met jou proosten op wat we hebben gemaakt…
Maar ik had vooral graag gewild dat jij het eindresultaat had gezien.

Samen naar Bali want na een zwaar jaar wilde jij mij steunen in de zoektocht naar mezelf. Nu kijk ik terug op dat jaar en denk ik: dat was niks vergeleken met waar ik nu doorheen moet.
Geen idee hoe ik dit moet gaan doen zonder jou, zonder dat jij mijn tranen wegveegt of mij een hele dikke knuffel geeft.
