«Eat My Multiverse» é uma obra performativa ao vivo que revela o eu como um todo quântico: plural, relacional e sensorialmente entrelaçado entre mundos e corpos internos e externos. Inspirando-se na prática mais ampla de Libby Heaney, que explora a materialidade quântica, a consciência e os campos ontológicos partilhados, a peça reúne computação quântica, ambientes virtuais, voz, movimento e ritual incorporado para abrir encontros experienciais com a multiplicidade. Imagens naturais, memória e emoção circulam pela obra como forças geradoras, permitindo que os fenómenos quânticos sejam sentidos como condições vividas, em vez de conceitos abstratos.
«Eat My Multiverse» convida o público a sentir-se entrelaçado em campos humanos, tecnológicos e ecológicos mais amplos, cultivando formas de perceção que suavizam o pensamento polarizado e renovam a ligação sentida com a natureza.
Synopsis (EN)
In this session, Libby Heaney will present the performance "Eat My Multiverse" (2025–ongoing, a performance featuring a live projection of a multiverse and sound. 30 minutes), followed by a discussion and a closing talk by Joasia Krysa. "Eat My Multiverse" is a live performance work that unfolds the self as quantum: plural, relational and sensorially entangled across inner and outer worlds and bodies. "Eat My Multiverse" invites audiences to sense themselves as entangled within wider human, technological, and ecological fields, cultivating forms of perception that soften polarised thinking and renew felt connection with nature.

A huge thanks to for coming along to my studio a few weeks ago to interview (aka grill…) a very over-caffeinated me 💕
I’m really pleased with the outcome, it captures our conversation well and roams through digital, quantum and physical media.
We dig into questions of representation (see yesterdays post for more on that if you missed it), and quantum leading to a layered blurry aesthetic of multiple focus points for the audience, which are not easily captured by recording devices.

Heaney writes her own computer code to manipulate and animate watercolour painting, drawing on the inherent non-binary logic of quantum, to celebrate ‘hybridity, monstrosity’ and ‘magic’. Inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s medieval monsters, Heaney’s work creates landscapes that seem to shift and breathe, and exploding structures that float and re-form.
Visitors can interact with Ent- (non-earthly delights) via QR codes, which activate the sculpture through Augmented Reality (AR).
