Wer hätte nach meinem letzten Geburtstag gedacht, wie bezeichnend dieses neue Lebensjahr werden würde. Mit 21 und 23 bekam ich meine Kinder und kümmerte mich viele Jahre alleinerziehend um sie, bis sie zu mündigen, selbstbewussten und selbständigen Erwachsenen heranwuchsen. Das kostete mich meine Jugend und hinterließ seine Spuren. Und doch, immer wieder keimte in Marco und mir der Wunsch es gemeinsam noch einmal zu wagen, doch ein Besuch im Kinderwunschzentrum, vor etwa 8 Jahren holte uns auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurück: PCOS, Insulinresistenz, vermutlich gar kein Eisprung mehr. Wir schlossen das Kapitel ab, lebten unser glückliches und endlich unabhängiges Leben - frei von Verpflichtungen, schreienden Kindern, Windeln und schlaflosen Nächten. Ich hatte es geschafft. Ich hatte 2 Kinder groß gezogen. Ich war frei.
Dann, im April die Nachricht, die mein Leben kurz ins Wanken brachte: Herzlichen Glückwunsch, sie sind in der 12. Woche schwanger.
Da sitze ich nun, 3 Tage nach meinem 44. Geburtstag, in der 27. Woche schwanger und kann es kaum erwarten, doch noch einmal mein Leben hinten anzustellen. Und so haben alle Veränderungen, selbst die, die wir lange und tief in uns ersehnten, ihre Melancholie. Denn was ich nun hinter mir lasse, ist ein Teil meiner selbst. Ich sage einem Leben Lebewohl, bevor ich in dieses Neue eintrete.
