Ich bin ehrlich: Schwimmen im Ozean macht mir doch ein bisschen zu schaffen. Strömungen, Wellen & Salzwasser kannste halt im Pool schlecht trainieren 🫠 Ich versuche, die nächsten Tage noch ein besseres Wassergefühl zu bekommen. Ansonsten hilft nur noch die Kollegen aka Delfine zu fragen, ob sie mich ein bisschen mitnehmen.

Ich check’s nicht, da bin ich ehrlich. Teilnehmerin einer WM gewesen zu sein, ist für mich immer noch total crazy. Auch vier Tage nach dem Zieleinlauf habe ich es noch nicht wirklich realisiert.
Dieser Tag wird immer etwas Besonderes bleiben – die Strecke, die Atmosphäre, der Support und das Gefühl beim Überqueren der Ziellinie.

Vor einer Woche war es soweit, nach 19 Wochen Training stand ich an der Startlinie auf dem Weg zu meiner ersten Triathlon-Langdistanz.
Kurz vor dem Start hatte ich bereits Tränen in den Augen, eine Mischung aus Nervosität und Respekt vor den nächsten Stunden machte sich breit.
Ich war gleichzeitig froh, es bis hierhin geschafft zu haben und gesund an der Startlinie zu stehen.
Alles was dann folgte, habe ich so noch nie erlebt. Ein Dauerzustand voller Glücksgefühle und Adrenalin trug mich ins Ziel und weit noch weit darüber hinaus.
Auch eine Woche später habe ich noch nicht ganz verarbeiten können, was ich dort geleitest habe, und frage mich, wo die Reise hingeht.
