This project started as a simple concept for a futuristic Sea Launch platform. My goal was to design a rocket launch system that feels distinct from current technology while maintaining a grounded, sci-fi aesthetic.
I’ve always believed that animation is the ultimate way to validate mechanical design—it’s the best way to demonstrate how these complex parts actually move and function. Through the process of refining the shots and the edit, what began as a design study evolved into this short cinematic piece.
