Maddy & Theo’s wedding Pinterest board was dotted with warm pops of color, Dutch Masters still life paintings, and nods to a loose literary theme. So, to compliment their upcoming wedding at The Tower in Boston, we decided to take their engagement photos at the National Gallery in Dublin, Ireland (photo 3) along with the where the couple loved to go on walks near their new home.
The couple met during their freshman year of college but were truly just friends until they acknowledged the obvious spark between them during their senior year. My favorite story is that they planned coordinated Halloween costumes “just as friends” but by the time Halloween actually rolled around they were actually dating…and dressed up as Inigo Montoya and Westley from the Princess Bride!

Anywho, I’m Lindsey (or “Lensy”), the owner and lead photographer of Lensy Michelle Photo, and this is Jullian, our “lead associate photographer.”All that fancy title means is that when you book me for larger events, you almost always get both of us as a team of co-leads! (YAY FOR CONSISTENCY!!) And starting in 2025, you can also book Jullian as your lead photographer for dates that I am already booked OR if you’re interested in more accessible pricing.
Jullian and I have always found it ironic that our work is strikingly similar despite the fact that our personalities are literally polar opposites. In large part, that is why we work so well together! We are what happens when an extrovert meets an introvert; “no chill” meets “all chill;”good cop meets bad cop 😂 BUT at the end of the day, we are sensitive to the same little quirks and details that make us love a particular image. – The heart of our work is the same, we just get there differently!
