This session felt like a deep breath. From the moment we started, everything was easy, connected, and full of warmth—the kind of shoot where nothing feels rushed and everyone can just be. Soft light filtering through the trees, Spanish moss swaying overhead, and the calm of the lake wrapping everything together made the perfect backdrop for their story.
What I loved most about photographing the Fox family was the way they naturally connected—arms linked, quiet laughs, kids leaning in close, and those in-between moments that say so much without trying. A mix of classic portraits and relaxed, lifestyle moments gave us images that feel timeless and true.
These are the kinds of sessions I’m always chasing—beautiful locations, genuine connection, and photos that feel like you. The kind you’ll look back on and remember not just how it looked… but how it felt. ✨📸
We went into this session with the intention of keeping everything fun, relaxed, and truly them. No stiff posing—just connection, laughter, and letting the evening unfold naturally. From the dock to the boat, barefoot moments to golden-hour snuggles, this session was full of movement, personality, and ease.
Lake air, soft light, a little adventure, and a lot of love—these are the moments that matter most. If you’re dreaming of family photos that feel natural, meaningful, and full of life, this is exactly the experience I love to create. ✨
Some shoots are fun… and some become core memories. This one was absolutely the latter. 🐶✨
The Ney family had a secret plan—surprise their kids with a puppy—and trusted me to help them pull it off during their photoshoot. The idea was simple (but oh-so-clever): we’d wrap up the session with a small Christmas moment. Just a few festive props, cozy vibes, and one “extra” prop… a wrapped present.
We moved through the family photos like normal, laughing, connecting, capturing those in-between moments, all while quietly waiting for the moment. When it felt right, we brought out the gift.
And then—magic.
The reactions. The shock. The joy. The tears. The instant realization of what was happening. Every emotion unfolded in real time, and I was there capturing all of it—every gasp, every hug, every happy squeal. Priceless doesn’t even begin to cover it.
This is why I do what I do. It’s not just about photos—it’s about preserving moments that families will talk about forever. I feel so honored to have captured this surprise, this love, and this once-in-a-lifetime memory for the Ney family to keep and cherish always. 💕📸
