We arrived late into Sydney on the 31st of December and the departing flight attendant crew was telling us its way too crowded at the opera house and we are not going to get a good spot and people have been camping out since 6am.
But I know if there’s a will, there’s a way!
We went in at 7:30pm and circular quay was still showing space available. And we just slowly walked inside, looking for the best vantage point! If you’re patience and don’t settle for mediocre views, you can still get incredible views 🤩🤩
Cheers to a 2026 of not listening to haters (they’re secretly jealous) and just doing what you want and achieving your dreams 💖

I’ve seen a few retirement flights through my career and this one was so thoughtful! The Boeing 777 Captains wife and daughter joined on the layover too but the flight was so full we weren’t sure if they would even make it, but they did in the end 🤭
They even made customs shirts for the occasion!! 🫶🏼
London is so junior because the security screening is like a nightmare and flying west is much harder on the body for jet lag compared to flying east 😩 and plus, Europe has a lot of theft these days so you always gotta be super vigilant!!
But the city is so charming so I suck it up once in a while to come ☺️☺️
Not shown in the video but the passengers were so generous and wanted to donate money to our children’s charity in honour of the captain and people were pulling out hundreds of pounds!!!!
I think Canadian pilots are seriously some of the best in the world as they have to know how to navigate in super icy and stormy conditions!! Thank you captain for another safe flight home 🥰

I think I’m hitting peak flight attendant benefits because working 9 days total in a month, for a full time flying is my golden handcuffs 😅😅
No way I can do a 9-5 job after I’m getting spoiled like this 😩😩
But we actually get salaried capped at 10 years so this is essentially how much I will be making for the rest of my career and it’s honestly not too much but this lifestyle is kinda nice🥹🥹
But I don’t want to over glamorize this job. For the first 3 years +/-, it will be a lot of hard domestic flying, especially in a North American based airline. If you want international flying right away, a middle eastern carrier is probably the best
But if you’re interested in working in an international Canadian airline, the languages I listed, a Canadian passport and some customer service experience, I think you’ll be golden ✨
But remember you will be earning below minimum wage salary for the first few years so please bare that in mind 🤔🤔🤔 I lived at home and started young so it didn’t affect me as much personally because I didn’t have much expenses which is why my experience is probably on the better side 😅
