On November 2nd at 1:00 PM, as part of Community Day at the, I’ll be giving a special presentation on my craft — exploring the precision, process, and passion behind handmade footwear.
It’s an incredible honour to share my work alongside the opening of the museum’s new exhibition on André Perugia, a true visionary in shoe design.
To celebrate the occasion, everyone who attends my talk will be entered into a raffle to win a pair of my signature Mules (or a credit of equal value). The Mule has always been a cornerstone of my brand — its popularity helped shape the early growth of Last Shoes and pushed me to refine my craft in new ways.
After the talk, I’ll have a display of my work and materials, and I’ll be around to answer questions about the shoemaking process. Hope to see you there!
We'll be having a special talk with Adam Finn of on the process, precision, and passion behind handcrafted footwear at 1:00 pm. Included with our free programming.

The wholecut Oxford has been around for over a century. It’s clean, minimal, and unforgiving if you don’t know what you’re doing. That’s why I love making them—everything shows.
This pair is cut from oil-tanned leather and built on my 96M last, which is shaped on the bottom to mimic the anatomy of the foot—better fit, better support. Size 8E.
Goodyear welted. Cork-filled. Leather insole, leather sole, leather heel, and a metal shank. All the good stuff.

• A Vibram Christie sole for lightweight comfort and all-day wear
This is actually the second pair of custom boots I’ve made for this client. They’ve struggled to find shoes that fit properly, so they came to me for a solution. With custom shoemaking, I’m able to design something that not only fits perfectly but also matches the client’s unique style and needs.
Creating bespoke footwear is more than just making shoes – it’s about building trust and understanding, ensuring every step (literally!) feels right for the customer. Whether it’s a custom order like this or a repair, I’m here to provide craftsmanship that lasts.

Blundstones have become a wardrobe staple for many, but did you know they’re designed to be disposable? According to their website, once the soles wear out, the boots are done for. But that doesn’t sit right with me. Over the years, I’ve seen the quality of Blundstones decline, with soles wearing out faster than ever. However, I believe in repair over replacement – both for sustainability and preserving what you love.
That’s why I’ve started offering resoling services for Blundstones using SVIG soles from Italy – a premium upgrade for durability and comfort. Here’s how I do it:
• I dismantle the boot, rebuild the insole, and re-Last it for a proper fit.
• Then, I press on the new sole and secure it with a Blake stitch for extra durability – because your boots should last.
For $155, you get a pair of boots that are ready to take on more adventures, all while reducing waste and keeping a favorite part of your wardrobe alive.
Why toss a perfectly good upper when it can be restored better than before? Repairing your footwear not only saves money in the long run but also supports craftsmanship, sustainability, and quality.
If your Blundstones have seen better days, let me bring them back to life.

I’m not sure what to call this boot. It’s the same silhouette as my Beatle boots, but there’s no seams. The leather is stretched into shape. In shoemaking we call it crimping. It’s sort of double crimped, the closest thing I can compare it to is a full Wellington, however this is more of a whole Wellington.
If you’ve seen a boot made this way before please let me know, I’d love to see what other shoemakers have done.
