Our little Margey is 13 today!!! She’s overcome some big changes in the past year, losing her sister Opi and Big Joe and recently losing her eyesight but she continues to bounce back and is still the same happy, cheeky, ball and lid obsessed, ants in her pants, always on the move, smiling, happy go lucky little girl. Happy birthday Margey Shmoo we love you sooooo so much
Dumb and dumber
Our resilient little Margey shmoo ❤️ Thankyou
Merry Christmas from On All Fours HQ. These guys have been decking the halls left right and centre today
After less than 24hrs out of the pound, Bubcha went downhill fast. She was rushed to the emergency vet and diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. This is a serious and potentially fatal condition. Had she not been collected when she was, and without medical intervention- she would not be with us. Bubcha racked up a $3K vet bill which is still climbing while we try and get on top of her infection. If you can donate any amount towards her vet bill will be super grateful 🙏🏽
Our foster Burly is still looking for his perfect home. Adoption link is in my bio
We lost our little Opi on Saturday 💔 She’s been my tiny, chunky shadow for nearly 12 years.
Opi was my little princess and I saw her through rose coloured glasses — she either loved you or loved to hate you, there was no in-between. She ran the household, kept the other dogs in check and had a serious attitude. She had a grudge against cartoon characters- especially Brian from family guy plus figurines she would spot or toys that looked like dogs. She had a weakness for raiding bins and pantries, and absolutely loved destroying countless pairs of my Best & Less size 16 bloomers.
The grief of losing her has hit hard — especially for little Margey, who never let her out of sight (until she was blind as a fuckin bat).
I know she’s got Big Joe and Lurch to welcome her to the other side and I’m sure she’ll treat them the same way she did here and pretend they don’t exist
We unexpectedly lost our Joey on Friday 💔. He fought hard and we were able to be by his side all day until his last breath. We can’t thank the team enough for what they did to give him the best chance at pulling through, staff even staying back well past their shift end time to help him.
Big Joe had been left dumped tied to a fence in an industrial area and thankfully ended up at the pound where he spent several months completely shutdown, scared and unable to be removed from his run. As usual, without Jessie’s permission we took a chance on Joe (he was a $99 bargain) with the view to foster and rehome him but that plan obviously failed. It took a while but once he felt loved his personality eventually came out and watching his transformation will always be one of my favourite things in life to have been a part of.
We adored Joey, he constantly cracked us up, he was affectionate and loving, he didn’t have much going on between those ears and when Donny came along he was kind enough to share his last remaining brain cell with him. He was a constant source of fun for the rest of our dogs, a constant source of worry for us with the things he ingested- several electrical appliances, entire shoes, wallets including the cash and cards, leads, collars, bricks- you name it he’s eaten it. Many trips to the emergency vet and that $99 bargain quickly turned into our house deposit.
The household is boring without him, Donny especially is a bit lost as these two ended up acting like an old gay married couple (Joe was the bottom).
He was only 5 and we had 3 of those years with him, might have been short but he made them count. We’ve cried thousands of tears for him since Friday and will cry thousands more but we know he knew he was loved and safe when he was with us and we are forever grateful he chose us to be his people.
We love you our baby boy đź’™
continually supports Maggie’s rescue and we can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for not just this boy but for so many dogs in foster care. Support Aussie business that support rescues ❤️
