For a long time, I never thought I would.
Not because they remind me of a difficult time, but because I never imagined I would reach a place where I could look back at that version of myself with so much compassion and gratitude.
Two years ago, I was going through one of the hardest phases of my life.
I know I wasn’t the first person in the world to go through something like that. People experience heartbreak, loss, and life changing disappointments every day.
But when it happens to you, it feels like the whole world has stopped.
It wasn’t the grief of losing someone to death, and I still can’t imagine the weight of that kind of loss. What I was dealing with was the loss of myself.
I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. I didn’t know if I would ever feel like myself again.
Back then, I truly believed the pain would stay forever.
But slowly, things changed.
A friend told me something a long time ago that I didn’t understand back then, “If you keep seeing yourself only as the victim, you’ll never move forward.” At the time, I couldn’t see it. Today, I completely get it. The day I stopped asking, “Why did this happen to me?” and started asking, “What can I do from here?” was the day everything began to change.
And today, when I look at these videos, I don’t see pain.
I see strength.
I see a woman who kept going even when she didn’t know where the road would lead.
I see someone who chose hope when giving up would have been easier.
My biggest victory wasn’t getting through that chapter.
It was finding myself again.
That’s why I’m sharing this today.
Not from a place of sadness, anger, or regret.
But from a place of gratitude.
Because everything I went through led me back to the person I was always meant to become.
And for that, I will always be grateful.
If you’re in the middle of your own difficult chapter, keep going.
You’ll be okay.
More than okay.
What I found especially unique about these sarees is their color combinations,some of them are quite rare, and I haven’t come across them very often.
These sarees are from, and the jewelry I’m wearing is from the same brand as well except for the kashumala and the jhumka.
