If you know me in person, you know I’m not only embodying the dark, symmetrical aesthetics that define my work. I’m also whimsical and colorful. Sometimes I’m cute and bubbly. For a long time, those parts of me weren’t visible in what I created — and until last year, I wasn’t even questioning it.

Linda is a close friend who I’ve met though my former profession as a social worker. We spent many years together as colleagues and friends.
When she asked me to create a design for her leg, I was over the moon, excited and nervous at the same time.
The design came out pretty quick, which made me even more nervous.
Later I understood that the level of „insight“ I have on the person who I work with improves the process in the best way, but at that time I was just happy and relieved she was totally in love with what I showed her.
Now, after more than a year later, I see my friend wearing her tattoo proud and happy and strong. Seeing this makes me speechless. Grateful, proud, happy, humble.
