Wer meine Arbeit etwas genauer verfolgt, weiß, dass ich seit vielen Jahren einen Laser zum Branden meiner Arbeit nutze. Im Gegensatz zu einem Brennstempel ist ein Laser sehr flexibel und benötigt keine perfekt ebene Fläche. Ich kann nicht nur Größe, sondern auch Art des Brandings in wenigen Sekunden anpassen.
Mit dem LX2 von kann ich das Ganze nun auf die nächste Stufe stellen. Er ist mit einer Graviergeschwindigkeit von bis zu 1000 mm/s unglaublich schnell und kann auch gewölbte Objekte, wie die Innenseiten von Schalen, oder runde Objekte mit dem optional erhältlichen Rotationsmodul präzise bearbeiten. Neu für mich ist auch die Möglichkeit, bis zu 22 mm dickes Holz in einem Durchgang zu schneiden. Mit einer Arbeitsfläche von 500 x 305 mm lassen sich auch größere Projekte verwirklichen, und die Lasermodule lassen sich in wenigen Sekunden werkzeuglos wechseln.
Da gerade ein Schneidebrett in einem Sondermaß bestellt wurde, habe ich den LX2 genutzt, um dieses zu branden. Brett einlegen, mit einem Klick die exakte Höhe messen, Logo mithilfe der Kamera positionieren – und schon geht's los.
