I may have caught it at the most magical time, seeing the colours of autumn through those HUGE orangery windows and enjoying the peace of the lake to myself. Just idyllic 🍂

I used to base myself in places to stay with lots to ‘do’ nearby, now I look for places to stay that I don’t want to leave. Cove valley is just that, comfort in a cabin well kitted out, wood fired hot tub under the canopy of trees overlooking the forest and nothing but the sounds of nature. Utter bliss.
And beyond the lux interiors and cool Americana vibe is an incredible ongoing, rewilding project on the 300 acre estate - which I could write extensively about but urge you to go check out the amazing work they are doing here!
From a rather lovely feature I shot last year 🌞🌾
Rooms feel very cosy and ambient, overlooking the River Teifi, with all of the Fforest farm style and charm that is just so uniquely them. Every little design detail feels very sympathetic to the history of the building too, maybe I appreciate this kind of thing more whilst in the throes of my own renovation, but I’m sure it was a real labour of love.
And a short drive from the sea too! It’s always a treat to be in this part of the world again, the west coast of Wales will forever have my heart 🥰
