Big shoutout to for bringing me on this project!
One of my favourite projects of 2025.
A four-person crew capturing Kevin during his Vancouver HYROX race, three on video, me on photo. Having never shot a HYROX event before, it was a challenge that genuinely excited me.
With constant movement and limited access, I had to get extremely creative with angles and really think outside the box. This shoot pushed me more than I expected and ended up teaching me a lot. Ultimately leading to some of my favourite work to date.
Keep going.
Here’s what you can do instead of quitting:
Reflect: Consider why you set the goal and if it’s still important to you
Adjust your approach: Set smaller, more manageable goals
Build a support system: Find an accountability partner, join a community group
But just remember, you are the only one that will achieve anything for you.
Nobody else can, and nobody else will.

Stick with the goals you set yourself and ride it out.

Remember to stay focused and never settle.
This is YOUR life, make it count.
I learned that I have the best support group in the world that carried me through the race even when my body wanted to stop.
I learned that no matter what happens to me I will never give up, injured or not my mind couldn’t stop.
And I learned that even when the goal slips out of reach, you learn more in the loss than you do in the win.
Because success in life comes with loss.
You fail more times while chasing your goals than when you achieve them.
And sometimes we need to fall flat on our face to remind us that we have the strength to pick ourselves back up.
It wasn’t the race I wanted, but it was the race that I was given, and I will forever be grateful for it.
The chase isn’t over, my new sub 60 block has already started.
