赤城神社は、東京都新宿区赤城元町にある神社。明治維新までは赤城大明神や赤城明神社と呼ばれた。
岩筒雄命（いわつつおのみこと）と、相殿として赤城姫命（あかぎひめのみこと）を祀る。
岩筒雄命は火の神である迦具土神より生まれ、経津主神の親神にあたるという。赤城姫命は一説によると神社を創建した大胡氏の息女と伝わり、別当寺である東覚寺の本地仏であった。

世界で唯一の木造螺旋構造の建築物です。
会津さざえ堂は寛政８年福島県会津若松市の飯盛山に建立された、高さ１６．５ｍ、六角三層のお堂です。正式名称は「円通三匝堂(えんつうさんそうどう)」といいます。(重要文化財指定名称は「旧正宗寺三匝堂」)当時飯盛山には正宗寺(しょうそうじ)というお寺があり、その住職であった僧郁堂(いくどう)の考案した建物です。かつてはその独特な２重螺旋のスロープに沿って西国三十三観音像が安置され、参拝者はこのお堂をお参りすることで三十三観音参りができるといわれていました。また、上りと下りが全く別の通路になっている一方通行の構造により、たくさんの参拝者がすれ違うこと無く安全にお参りできるという世界にも珍しい建築様式を採用したことで、建築史上その特異な存在が認められ、平成８年に国重要文化財に指定されました。

光明寺は、京都府長岡京市粟生西条ノ内にある西山浄土宗の総本山の寺院。山号は報国山。本尊は法然上人像。法然が初めて「念仏」の教えを説いた地である。また、紅葉の名所としても広く知られる。粟生光明寺とも呼ばれている。
奈良へ学匠となるべき師を求めて比叡山延暦寺を下ってきた24歳の法然が、粟生野の里の村役だった高橋茂右衛門宅に一夜の宿を借りた際、茂右衛門夫妻は法然の真剣な求法の気持ちと、広く大衆が救われる道を求めての旅であることを聞いて「まことの教えを見いだされましたならば、先ず最初に私共にその尊いみ教えをお説き下さいませ」と法然にお願いした。

ここに来ると神聖な気持ちになります。
増上寺は、東京都港区芝公園四丁目にある浄土宗の仏教寺院。山号は三縁山。三縁山広度院増上寺と称する。
9世紀、空海の弟子・宗叡が武蔵国貝塚に建立した光明寺が増上寺の前身だという。
その後、室町時代の明徳4年、浄土宗第八祖酉誉聖聡の時、真言宗から浄土宗に改宗し、寺号も増上寺と改めた。この聖聡が、実質上の開基といえる。

太宰治は、日本の小説家。本名は津島 修治。 左翼活動での挫折後、自殺未遂や薬物中毒を繰り返しながらも、第二次世界大戦前から戦後にかけて作品を次々に発表。主な作品に『走れメロス』『津軽』『お伽草紙』『人間失格』がある。没落した華族の女を主人公にした『斜陽』はベストセラーとなる。戦後は、その作風から坂口安吾、織田作之助、石川淳、壇一雄らとともに新戯作派、無頼派と称されたが、典型的な自己破滅型の私小説作家であった。

海を間近に感じられる素晴らしい駅でした。
愛媛県松山市梅津寺町にある、伊予鉄道高浜線の駅である。駅番号はIY02。ホームの柵を挟んですぐ真下が砂浜であり、改札を出てすぐの階段からその砂浜に降りることができる海に近い駅である。
相対式ホーム2面2線を有する地上駅で無人駅である。2番線ホームの背後は海岸である。
1番線が上下本線、2番線が下り本線となっている。これは2番線ホームが異常気象時に高波を被った場合、高浜行き電車を1番線に入線させるためで、それに備え1番線の港山方に下り場内信号機と渡り線が、高浜方に下り出発信号機がある。

高台寺の竹林が幻想的で美しかった。
高台寺（髙臺寺、こうだいじ）は、京都市東山区にある臨済宗建仁寺派の寺院。山号は鷲峰山（じゅぶさん）。本尊は釈迦如来。寺号は詳しくは高台寿聖禅寺と称する。豊臣秀吉の正室である北政所が秀吉の冥福を祈るため建立した寺院であり、寺号は北政所の落飾（仏門に入る）後の院号である高台院にちなむ。禅宗寺院であるとともに、秀吉と北政所を祀る霊廟としての性格を持った寺院である。元々は黄金八丈の阿弥陀如来像（大仏）を安置する雲居寺の境内であった。
霊屋（おたまや）の堂内装飾には桃山様式の蒔絵が用いられ、これを「高台寺蒔絵」と呼ぶ。他に北政所所持と伝えられる蒔絵調度類を多数蔵することから「蒔絵の寺」の通称がある。夜間拝観を京都で最初に行い始めた寺院である。
豊臣秀吉の没後、正室の北政所は慶長8年（1603年）に後陽成天皇から「高台院」の号を勅賜されると、秀吉の菩提を弔おうと寺院の建立を発願し徳川家康もその建立を支援した。高台寺の創建地は、元々は黄金八丈の阿弥陀如来像（大仏）を安置する雲居寺の境内であったが、応仁の乱で焼失していた。

井の頭池にたたずむ一羽の水鳥。
井の頭恩賜公園は、武蔵野市の南東から三鷹市の北東にかけて広がる公園である。総面積は約43万m2である。
井の頭公園はその中心に井の頭池を擁している。井の頭池は北西－南東方向に延びる細長い形の池であり、北西端は二つに分かれ、南東端からは井の頭池を源とする神田川が流出している。神田川の流れの一部も井の頭公園に含まれている。また、井の頭池の西側には御殿山の雑木林があり、吉祥寺通りを挟んで東京都建設局井の頭自然文化園が位置している。雑木林の南側には玉川上水が東南方向に流れ、そのさらに南には「西園」が位置している。

燃えるような赤と歴史ある塔に感動です。
常楽寺は、滋賀県湖南市西寺にある天台宗系単立の寺院。山号は阿星山。本尊は千手観音。
同じ湖南市に所在する長寿寺の「東寺（ひがしでら）」に対して、「西寺（にしでら）」と呼ばれている。長寿寺、善水寺とともに湖南三山の1つに数えられる。1月中旬には祭事の鬼ばしりが行われる。近江西国三十三箇所観音霊場第1番札所。
創建の時期および事情については、史料が乏しく定かでない。寺伝では、和銅年間（708年 - 715年）に元明天皇の勅願により良弁によって創建されたとする。また長寿寺同様に紫香楽宮の鬼門を封じていたともいう。
