So I came across a video the other day of a lady that did this. Today, I went to my toolbox, washed these pliers 2Xs with hot soapy water and then I tried it for myself.
Well, wouldn't you know! It actually worked!!
All you need are some chicken tenders, cleaned needle nose pliers, and a large fork.
1. Grab the tendon (the white part that makes the chicken chewy) with the pliers
2. Slide the fork between the chicken and the pliers with the tendon between the tines.
3. Pull the tendon away from the chicken
4. Cook as desired
4. No more "chewy part" in your chicken tenders

To say that I believe that statement completely means a lot. If you knew my story, I promise you would be proud of me.
Day after day I struggle. I struggle with thoughts that beat me down. I struggle with a mind that is fighting with my body against hormones (thank you thyroid). I struggle with chronic inflammation that makes getting out of bed excruciatingly painful (thank you PCOS), but I know I am worth it and I deserve to live my life.
I have a purpose. I am a daughter of God. I have 4 beautiful children to live for and to love and teach and watch grow. I have an incredible husband and best friend--someone that loves and sustains me each and every day.

The first day of being a mom after I brought my first baby home, man I was so stinking scared. Post-partum depression already in full swing, my milk not coming in with a hangry baby, and my whole body was trashed.
How on earth was I gonna take care of someone else when I couldn't even cough or laugh without peeing a little? I mean, that's just a lifelong struggle after having your little ones. #DoYourKegels
But I digress.
I have 4 beautiful kids. With each one, I have had to learn how to take care of ME first. In the beginning, I put my children's needs before my very own, causing more problems than necessary.
1. I have learned to EAT before I am hungry and especially before I have to make food for the fam. I dont just eat crap tho. I eat food that is nourishing to the heart, mind and body, using supplements when needed. This allows me to be kinder and more willing and helpful during meal times.
2. Get outside and MOVE my body every day is now a non-negotiable. Taking care of my physical and mental health is so dang important. All aspects of our lives affect one another.
3. LOCK the door when you go to the bathroom. If you're like me, you make it quick anyways. Make sure the kids are safe and run. That 1 minute of peace can sometimes be all you need to return to the trenches of #SAHMLife.
