試合観戦の後、明け方より2時間ほど掛けて行法と勤行を勤めて、上半期の報恩謝徳ならびに続く半年の息災を祈念いたしました。
今朝は、殊に四念処（身・受・心・法）を意識して修法にのぞみました。上記の四つを念ずる（sati）ことに加えて、密教の観法を修することによって、感覚が研ぎ澄まされます。しかし、それにとらわれる事はいけないと思いつつ、試行錯誤しながら、まだまだ迷いの中にあります。。
さて、本日6月の最終日は、各地の神社で夏越の祓が行われます。皆さまもお近くの神社にて、罪障を払い清めて明日からの息災をお祈りしてはいかかでしょう。

本日は、まさに旧暦5月3日。今宵は金剛峯寺の鐘楼にて、暮れ六つの鐘（18時）が鳴り響き、竪精が始まります。
その厳儀を終えるのは、明朝東の空が明けてくる頃です。
先程は自坊にて、御本地供を修し、金剛峯寺鎮守法施を読誦しました。この日には、必ず修すと記されます。
無魔成満を祈念いたします。

高野町商工会青年部をはじめとする町民の皆さんが、39年間にわたり渾身の力を込め、年に一度、夜の高野山に美しい光を灯し続けてくださいました。その見事な姿に、お大師様もさぞお喜びのことと思います。
青年部員の減少に伴い、今年で一区切りを迎えるとのこと。長年にわたる多大なるご尽力に、心より御礼申し上げます。
来年以降のことはまだ分かりませんが、いつの日かまた、この美しい景色に出会えることを心から願っております。

山岳信仰と天神信仰にまつわる今回の特別展は、日本の神と仏がどのように結びつき、人々の心の拠り所となってきたのか、その奥深い精神史に圧倒されました。
京博では先ず第一会場の淳祐（しゅんにゅう）内供 御筆の「理趣釈」（仁和寺蔵）に足が止まりました。
最初、なぜここに?と思いましたが、淳祐内供は菅原道真公の孫であり、石山寺に伝わる「薫聖教」（においのしょうぎょう）が有名です。事前に出陳内容をチェックしていなかったので、これは有り難いことでした。
また、宇多天皇（寛平法皇）が敦仁親王（後の醍醐帝）に与えた訓戒書「寛平御遺誡」も同じく興味深く拝見しました。
淳祐内供、宇多帝、醍醐帝は、大師号下賜（延喜21年・921年 弘法大師号）にまつわる最重要な方々であります。今回はその件に触れられる事はありませんが、やはり往時の史料を間近に見て、しばし立ち止まってしまいました。
そして、天神様の御本地仏である十一面観音菩薩像、舎利講式、天神講式など古の神仏習合の史料を見て、これらは今でも高野山で唱えていたり、実際に拝んでいるなど、決して昔話ではなく、現在進行中と言う事も改めて思った次第です。
最後に、今回の目玉というべき「北野天神絵巻」。全九巻、総延長は何と80メートルに及ぶそうです。色彩の美しさと躍動感あふれる表現の素晴らしい絵巻物が、このような状態で現代まで大切に守られてきたのは、強い信仰の力、また天神様を崇敬した時の権力者による庇護によるものだと、感慨深く感じ入りました。
次に訪れた奈良博には、9:30の開館前に到着したものの、事前チケットを持つ人の列がすでに長く伸びていました。しばらく待って後ろを振り返ると、さらに長蛇の列ができています。
本日で閉幕したとのことですが、6月に入ってから何と15万人もの人が訪れるほどの大盛況だったようです。
私は事前に「聴く美術」アプリで特別展の「音声ガイド」を購入していたので、行く途中車内で聴いていたのが正解でした。現場では、中々ゆっくり聴きながら見るのは難しいですからね。音声ガイドでは、山上ヶ岳から博物館学芸員と運搬スタッフ（日通さん）が、何体かの蔵王権現像を背中に担いで苦労して下山した話も聞けました。
さすがに、山上堂内の「秘密の行者像」（役小角）は、大きすぎて（深秘故か）今回お出ましは叶いませんでした。
館内で特に印象的だったのは、女性の拝観者が蔵王権現像や仏像の前で静かに手を合わせている姿を、何度も目にしたことです。大峯山寺は女人禁制であり、女性は足を運ぶことが叶わないため、遥か彼方の山へ思いを馳せておられたのでしょうか。本当であれば、数珠を繰ったり読経したりして、心ゆくまで拝みたいところでしょうが、博物館という場所や混雑を考えると、それが叶わないのは仕方のないことかもしれません。
関心の内容ですが、秘仏本尊 山上蔵王大権現像や藤原道長筆の写経は言わずもがな、自分目線で感心を引いたのは、吉野の寺院（比曽山寺）に伝わる、求聞持本尊（虚空蔵菩薩）です。かつて、この地で大安寺系の僧らによって自然智を得る修行（求聞持法）が行われており、その流れより弘法大師もその法を伝えられているので、実際に求聞持にまつわるものを拝見すると、本で学んだ知識に加えて感動を覚えるものです。
あと、「金峯山秘密伝」とその近くに展示されていた「能作性宝珠」も要チェックしました。
一般の方は、ほぼ気にされずスルーされそうなものですが。。
その他、端麗な如意輪観音菩薩像、大迫力の聖徳太子像、秀吉公の吉野大花見の展示物など。西行さんや天神さんにも出会えました。
最後に、近代に入って岡倉天心などによる美術調査の史料もここで見られるとは思わず良かったです。最近、岡倉覚三（天心）の本を読んでいたので。
