なにかを照らす物理的な光もあれば、哲学的な光もある。
内なる光は、網膜では捉えきれない。
しかし、その内なる光こそが、
その人の人生という像を生み出している。
What is Light?
There is physical light that allows us to see, but there is also a more philosophical kind of light.
Our inner light cannot be fully captured by the retina.
And yet, perhaps this inner light is what creates the image we call our life.

無意識に「背景」と「対象」を切り分けながら、
世界を認識している。
現実世界は、最初から意味を持って存在しているわけじゃない。
この世界は、空っぽの閉ざされた箱のようなもので、
自分の内なる“光”が当たることで、
はじめて世界が、“像”として立ち現れてくる。
We do not simply see the world as it is.
Without noticing it, we separate what we see into a “background” and an “object”. In this way, we begin to understand the world around us.
The world does not necessarily exist with meaning from the beginning.
It is more like an empty, closed box.
Only when our inner “light” falls on it, does the world begin to appear as an image.

If I try to talk about what this light really is, I honestly don’t think it can have just one answer.
Maybe because it is always moving and changing.
So I cannot say, “This is what the light is.”
But if I had to describe it as a thought I have today, I feel that this light might be close to our values.
What we find beautiful.
What we feel pain for.
What we cannot simply ignore.

What should I paint and what should I leave behind?
After facing myself over and over, I realized something.
Inside me live two selves
one that wants order like an adult
and one that wants to play freely like a child.
They are always in tension, always moving.
At first I tried to fix that tension
but now I am certain that the tension itself is who I am
and it feels like everything has been set free.
The essence of existence lies in our connections with others.
Confirming myself in solitude
and leaving work behind that connects me to someone else
are both part of the same process of proving my existence.
Making art is not about producing a finished answer.
It is a space to explore a free world and confirm my own existence.
Layering, destroying, letting accidents happen.
Silent accumulations. Countless traces.
And honestly, I just want to leave it all behind. 🌏
自分は何処に在って、何処へ行くのか🌀
何を描き、何を残すべきなのか。
向き合っていく中で見えてきたことがある。
自分の中には 大人みたいに整えたい自分 と 子供みたいに自由に遊びたい自分 がいて、ずっと揺れている。
最初はその揺れを直そうとしてたけど、今は、その揺れこそが自分だと確信して、全てが解放された気がした。
存在の正体は、他とのつながりの中にある。
孤独の中で自分を確かめる行為も、
作品として残ることで誰かと繋がることも、
同じ存在証明の途中式だった。
制作は完成された答えを出すためではない。
自由な世界の中で、自分の存在を確かめながら遊ぶための場所。
色を重ね、壊し、偶然を許す。
