We took a long walk around the Eiffel Tower, no plan, just wandering and letting the city set the pace. The sun was low, the streets were still wet from the snow, and everything looked warmer than it actually was, glowing facades, long shadows, little reflections everywhere. I kept catching small moments that felt perfect in that light.
Paris can be freezing in winter, but on days like this the light changes everything. One calm sunny day in the middle of all that snow, and it really felt like a little gift.

Snow like this here is rare, and that’s exactly why it feels so special. The city instantly looked different, softer, quieter, almost unreal. Roofs covered in white, warm café windows glowing, people moving slower like everyone silently agreed: “ok, let’s just enjoy this for a minute”
I walked around with a stupid smile the whole time. It’s one of those mornings where you don’t even need a plan, you just follow the light, the footsteps in fresh snow, the little details you’ll forget to notice on any normal day. And later, when it melts, it stays with you anyway. Like a tiny memory you can replay when you need it.
We got really lucky with this one. Paris in snow is pure magic.
