A Personal Mission
I’m Koichi, a vocal coach for musical theatre.
I hope this message finds as many people as possible. My mission is to ensure that the people who deserve the spotlight in professional musical theatre get the recognition they truly earn.
To that end, I have pursued international training in vocal science and coaching.
I am deeply committed to cultivating a culture in Japan where mutual respect is the foundation of every production, and where precise, effective vocal and musical direction is the standard.
Currently, I am working toward becoming an Associate Music Director on Broadway to bring this vision back to life.
My goal is to eliminate the harm that outdated coaching methods can inflict on an actor’s voice and spirit, and to foster more creative, supportive environments in the Japanese musical theatre scene. I would be deeply grateful for your support and collaboration in making this a reality.

34歳の誕生日は台湾で迎えました🫶
ミュージカルの世界に足を踏み入れて24年目に入ります。
ヴォーカルコーチングの世界は本当に奥深くて面白くて、果てのない探究で、僕自身の魂が磨かれるような大好きで大変な仕事で、本当に愛おしい日々を皆さんと過ごさせて頂いています。
僕にとって「自己表現」の形はミュージカル俳優だけではなく、
ヴォーカルコーチングの場もそうですし、
実はこっそりフィットネスモデルとしても活動していて、それも僕の大好きな自己表現の形の一つです。
夢が叶う頃にまた皆さんに詳しくシェアしたいですが、
毎月海外のフォトグラファーとコラボさせて頂いています💪
今の僕が心からやりたいと思っている表現へ向かえていて、同時に僕の中のゴールへの道のりはまだまだだからこそ日々突き動かされています。
これからヴォーカルコーチングの仕事もフィットネスモデルとしても大きくスケールしていくフェーズになりますが、そういう時だからこそ、ひとつひとつ、真心込めて、大切に生きていきます。
たゆまぬ探究の先にいつも存在する不完全さこそ人間の美しさだとここ最近つくづく感じるので、そんな自分を心から愛し続けて、
僕をかたちづくってくれている全ての身の回りの存在を愛し続けます。

Turning 34 today! Spent my birthday in Taiwan🇹🇼
This year marks my 24th year in the musical theatre world. Vocal coaching has been an incredibly deep, fascinating, and endless journey. It’s a demanding job that truly refines my soul, and I cherish every single day I get to spend with all of you.
For me, "self-expression" isn't limited to being a musical actor. It lives in my vocal coaching, and secretly, as a fitness model too—which is another form of expression I absolutely love. I hope to share more details once my big dream comes true, but for now, I’m thrilled to be collaborating with international photographers every month 💪
I’m so grateful to be pursuing the exact forms of expression my heart desires right now. At the same time, knowing how much further I have to go to reach my ultimate goals keeps me driven every day.
As I enter a phase of scaling up both my vocal coaching and fitness modeling, I want to live mindfully—approaching every single moment with love and sincerity.
Lately, I’ve come to realize that the human beauty lies in the very imperfection that exists beyond relentless dedication. I want to fully love myself just as I am, and continue to love everyone and everything that shapes who I am.
