こんばんは🌙 5月７日〜5月13日まで、宮崎市のクスナミキギャラリー にて開催していました個展Cuts That Connectは終了いたしました。 お越しいただいた皆様、SNSで見てくださっていた皆様、クスナミキギャラリー様、ありがとうございました。 地元宮崎での個展は１３年ぶりの開催だったので、いつもとはまた違う緊張感があり、始まるまでドキドキしていました。 初日から毎日本当に多くのお客様にお越しいただけて、びっくりしつつ、とても嬉しかったです。 インスタで見てくださっている皆様、テレビや新聞で知ってくださった方、遠方から来てくださった皆様、２歳の頃の切り絵を知っている方、中学生の時の個展で切った作品を持ってきてくださる方、学校の恩師、久々にお会いする同級生、大好きなお店の方々、宮崎の素敵な作家の皆様、、 初めてお会いする方や今までの人生で出会った沢山の方々に切り絵を通してまたお会いすることができて、本当に嬉しく夢の中にいるような一週間でした。 個展が終わり、静かな部屋で一人作品の梱包作業をしながら、やはり夢だったのでは、、と思い返しています。 僕が子供の頃に切った切り絵をみなさんが持ってきてくださり、当時の自分とも再会できたようで少し恥ずかしくて、嬉しかったです。 作家活動を通しで出会った愛芽さん、水口千令さん 、カカさん の作品を宮崎の皆様にもご紹介させていただけて、とても光栄でした。 会期中はお天気に恵まれ、窓から見える楠並木の木漏れ日が美しく、ギャラリーにはずっと心地よい空気が流れていました。 また宮崎で個展を開催したいと思っています。 ありがとうございました！

こんばんは🌙 宮崎の個展がクスナミキギャラリーにて明日から始まります。 切り絵を始めたばかりの小さい頃の作品から、最近の個展の作品に新しい作品を加えて展示します。 会期中は、動物や植物などのリクエストにお応えして小さなシルエット作品をお作りするライブカッティングも開催予定です。 また、これまで切り絵の作家活動を通して出会った大切な友人であり尊敬する３人のアーティストの皆様の作品も展示させていただきます。
会場では、昨年開催した個展NIGHTFALLの音楽を含め新たに録音したピアノ曲を流す予定にしています。 切り絵と一緒にお楽しみいただけますと嬉しいです。

こんにちは。 ゴールデンウィークいかがお過ごしでしょうか。 宮崎の個展まで１週間となりました。 ５月７日（木）から５月１３日（水）まで、宮崎市のクスナミキギャラリーにて個展を開催します。今年は紙を切り始めて３０年目ということで、Cuts That Connect（きることでつなぐ）をテーマに、紙を切り始めた子供のころの作品から、最近の個展の作品に、新作を加えて展示を予定しいます。 また、これまで切り絵の作家活動を通して出会った大切な友人であり尊敬する３人のアーティストの皆様の作品も展示させていただきます。
愛芽さん (Aime Yamamoto)
ベルギー・ブリュッセル在住の日本人アーティスト
僕が１２歳の夏休みに訪れたブリュッセルで初めてお会いしました。 滞在中に、愛芽さんの被っていた帽子に僕が切り絵で切った宇宙人のアンテナなどで飾って、それを愛芽さんが嬉しそうに一緒に楽しんでくれた思い出があります。 その後２０年にわたって日本国内での作品展参加や、ブリュッセルでのワークショップなどをにさせていただいています。 今回の個展では、愛芽さんが書いた物語に僕が切り絵と音楽をつけて制作に参加させていた作品「トピくんは、もう天使になったのですか？」を展示します。
水口千令さん
静岡県伊豆市の紙切り作家 僕が始めて出会った同じ手法（はさみでフリーハンド）で作品を作られているとても素敵な紙切作家さんです。 千令さんの作品はいつもあたたかくて、切なさや懐かしさを感じます。 ２０１５年、静岡県三島市と御殿場市で開催された公演「こどものころ」で、一緒にステージでの切り絵のパフォーマンスや、切り絵のアニメーションの制作などをさせていただきました。 千令さんや、静岡のみなさんが公演に向けて暖かくサポートしてくださった経験が、今でもそっと背中を押してくれています。 今回の個展では、２０１５年の公演に向けて千令さんと一緒に制作させいただいた切り絵作品の原画を展示します。
カカさん (KK BICALHO)
ブラジル在住の切り絵アーティスト
カカさんもハサミでフリーハンドで切り絵作品を制作されています。 地球の反対側、ブラジルからインスタで僕を見つけてくれて、それからお手紙で切り絵を送ったり、一緒にインスタライブの配信をさせていただいたりしています。 日常のふとした瞬間を切り取るカカさんの視点が本当に大好きです。 切り絵を続けてきて、地球の反対側のブラジルのカカさんとつながることができるとは、、！ いつか実際にお会いして２人展を開催できることを夢見ています。 今回の個展では、僕がピアノを演奏している姿をイメージしてカカさんが制作してくださった切り絵作品を展示します。

My solo exhibition is now just one week away! It will be held from May 7 to May 13 at kusunamiki gallery in Miyazaki city.
This year marks 30 years since I began cutting paper. Under the theme “Cuts That Connect,” I will be exhibiting a selection of works ranging from pieces I created as a child to recent works from past exhibitions, along with new pieces.

今日の東京は寒い1日でしたね❄️
1月15(木)から始まった切り絵と音楽展「flowing drops」 後半がスタートしました。 水をテーマにした今回の作品展では、虹をモチーフにした作品も展示しています。
今回の個展のDMにもなっている珊瑚の切り絵の立体作品「Color of Life」は、プリズムで実際の小さな虹を作り出して、作品に投影しています。
半地下のスペースでは、水の循環をイメージして作曲したocean、cloud、rain、snow、riverの5つのピアノをお聞きいただけます。
切り絵とともに音楽も楽しんでいただけましたら嬉しいです🌧️
個展は1月26日(月)までアメリカ橋ギャラリーにて開催しています。

It was a cold day in Tokyo today ❄️
The second half of my paper-cutting and music exhibition “Flowing Drops” has begun.
This exhibition explores the theme of water, and also features works inspired by rainbows 🌈
The coral paper-cut sculpture “Color of Life,” featured on the exhibition DM, is illuminated with a prism that creates a small, real rainbow projected onto the work itself.
It carries a wish for corals to regain their colors after bleaching, and for the rich diversity of life to flourish once again.
In the semi-basement space, you can listen to five piano pieces — ocean, cloud, rain, snow, and river — composed with the image of the water cycle in mind.

The exhibition runs until January 26 (Mon) at America-Bashi Gallery, Ebisu, Tokyo.
