The past two weeks have been quite busy with us, between finishing up my final semester before I graduate to preparing for an upcoming move.

When I originally made this post, these fragrances were among my most complimented fragrances.
While I still enjoy many of the fragrances here, the complement factor doesn't mean much to me.
Don't get me wrong; I enjoy the occasional compliment here and there, but it's not a factor that determines what fragrances I choose to wear.
Regarding fragrances, how important are compliments to your wearing experience?
Arabian Oud Aseel is a gourmand fragrance with top notes of red berries, litchi, and pineapple; heart notes of rose, almond blossom, and magnolia; and base notes of patchouli, black vanilla, caramel, oud, and woody notes.
While I don't pick up much of the oud, florals, or patchouli, the black vanilla, litchi, and caramel are the main themes of Aseel.
To my nose, Aseel smells very similar to Mula Mula, and it's hard to say which I prefer based on the scent alone. However, I have yet to find a brand that has better presentation than Arabian Oud, so I'd give the edge to Aseel.
How important is presentation to you❓
This past weekend was a bit rough for me, so I needed an uplifting fragrance to get me back on track mentally.
My go-to uplifting fragrance used to be Aventus, but Roja's A Midsummer Dream has dethroned the king. It's subtle but vibrant at the same time. At times, A Midsummer Dream subtle enough that I forget that im wearing it; that is until I turn my head a catch a whiff of this beautifully blended fragrance.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read the notes for Cape Heartache. Cape Heartache has notes of Douglas fir, pine resin, western hemlock, vanilla leaf, strawberry, old growth, and mountain fog.
This fragrance has made me rethink my top 3 fragrances from the house. Have you tried this or any other from Imaginary Authors?

Today I'm wearing Memoirs of Trespasser, and it's causing a bit of internal turmoil. So far, A City On Fire has been my go-to fragrance from the house, but Memoirs of a Trespasser may be taking that number one spot.
This fragrance reminds me of a less smokey and less sweet alternative to By The Fireplace.

As Telegrama dries down, it transitions into a fresh powdery fragrance with hints of black pepper; what's interesting is that the black pepper adds a bit of spice while remaining reserved. What I really dig about Telegrama is how clean it smells. While I've only worn it once, it will be my go-to fresh out of the shower scent. Great fragrance
