Today, I have a question for you: What is your absolute favorite knitting needle? ✨ Until this morning, I was convinced my wooden needles from Lykke were unbeatable. They have a rubber tubing connecting the needle to the cable, so the stitches glide smoothly without snagging.
But this morning, I got completely stuck in my project! I actually had to cut the needle off the cable because a good number of elongated stitches just wouldn’t slide or untangle. My second attempt went better with lace needles in metal. 🤞🏼
So now I’m wondering: Do you choose your needles depending on the yarn quality and pattern? And which brand is your favorite? I’m excited to hear your tips!

Heute habe ich eine Frage an euch: Was ist eure absolute Lieblingsstricknadel? ✨ Bis heute Vormittag war ich fest davon überzeugt, dass meine Holznadeln von Lykke unschlagbar sind. Sie haben einen Gummischlauch zur Verbindung zwischen Nadel und Seil – dadurch gleiten die Maschen wunderbar ohne zu haken.
Doch heute Morgen bin ich bei meinem Strickprojekt regelrecht steckengeblieben! Die Nadel musste am Seil geschnitten werden, weil sich eine ordentliche Anzahl von elongated stitches einfach nicht mehr verschieben oder auflösen ließ. Der zweite Versuch lief dann mit Lace-Nadeln aus Metall. 🤞🏼
Nun frage ich mich: Unterscheidet ihr die Nadeln je nach Wollqualität und Muster? Welche Marke ist eure Lieblingsnadel? Lasst es mich wissen, ich bin gespannt auf eure Erfahrungen!
