Papa Emeritus IV is the fourth frontman and alter ego of the Swedish theatrical rock band Ghost, portrayed by creator Tobias Forge. Originating in the band’s lore as “Cardinal Copia,” he led the band through the Prequelle and Impera album cycles before retiring in 2023 to become “Frater Imperator,” the Head of the Clergy.
