And yet, sometimes, I too need a reminder.
“From God,” I say, and immediately feel how Truth sinks into my whole being, and how my heart’s longings are met in that holy instant.
Having experienced my whole life dissolve unexpectedly in a second, I had no choice but to surrender to the Divine. There was nothing else. The doors of my life closed, and I died whilst still breathing. All my structures—inner and outer—fell away. There was no stable ground beneath me or around me, and no inner survival strategies left to lean into.
So I placed all my faith in God. In divine Love.
As in one of the Vedic stories, I had to turn my whole arrow toward God. I thought of this when I recently learned to use a bow and arrow in Australia.
And I feel the truth in the universal divine laws of Love: as doors close, the universe opens new ones. Love is constant. Unchanging.
Peace, faith, and freedom are qualities of my—of our—divine inheritance. They are not subject to the outer world.
And I feel how the beauty and the people in my life are reflections of this divine, unshakable Love. How the whole universe has conspired to show me this holy truth about life.
And yet—
the energetic imprint of shock and grief in my system still needs a gentle reminder: that no matter the past, no matter the trauma or the grief, there is only the good of the Divine.

When we turn our whole arrow toward God—toward Love—grace rushes in.
when the light barely reached her eyes.
Grief had a way of softening everything…
even her voice, even her presence.
And now
Here she is.
On the same earth.
Under the same sky.
But completely transformed.
Not because life became easier…

Der er noget med kvinde-liv, som rører mit hjerte dybt, og som jeg begynder at forstå på en helt ny måde. Jeg har altid haft gode veninder, og mine venskaber har været vigtige for mig, men efter et helt liv (35 år) i dyb kærlig forening med min mand, var han min primære – jeg havde mindre brug for at læne mig ind i mine veninder. Efter mit fald har jeg oplevet kvinder ved min side de første dage og uger, med hænder i mine, hænder i min ryg, mens jeg hyperventilerede og kravlede rundt i chok. Kvinders hænder i mine hele natten på Riget mens jeg tiggede og bad Gud og dig, min elskede, om at komme tilbage til os. Kvinder med os da alt håb var ude. Kvinders mad serveret for mig og for os, fordi ellers ville vi ingenting spise i tiden efter det utænkelige, ubærlige. Kvinders healende hænder på mig. Kvinder ved min side om natten, hvor sorgen og rædslen tog mig ned i dybet. Kvinders stemmer, der beroligede mig – ja, Kisser, du overlever, I overlever. I skal nok klare den. Kvinders nervesystem, jeg kunne læne mig ind i. Hovedet i en venindes skød, mens jeg hulkede og hulkede i ét væk, indtil det hele faldt til ro ind i hendes blide kærtegn af mit hår.
