直接お店に来てくださることが何よりも嬉しかったです。
遠方でどうしても行けないという方も、メッセージでエールを送ってくださり、それが支えになりました。
可愛いゾウのクッキー、クリームソーダ、ほっと落ち着く内観、住宅街に突然現れるワクワクする外観も、みなさんたくさん写真を撮ってくださったと思います。
たまに見返して、こんな素敵な喫茶店があったことを思い出してもらえたら嬉しいです。
そして、喫茶ゾウを6年半あたたかく見守って可愛がってくださったご近所のみなさま、本当にありがとうございました。とても心強かったです。

いよいよ閉店まで残すところあと2日になりました。
喫茶ゾウには、長いこと通ってくださった常連のおじいちゃんがいます。
大体1週間に一度、多い時は週に2日来てくれます。
いつもお決まりでホットコーヒーを頼んでいました。
わたしたちのことを孫のように可愛がってくださっていたと思います。
わたしたちのしょうもない会話、日常の報告を、いつも相槌を打ちながら聞いてくれました。
閉店が決まってお店が混むようになってからは、脚が痛むので長い時間は外で待てなく帰ってしまうのですが、それでも一度顔を出してみんなに挨拶をしてくれていました。
「また来るわ！」に対して、わたしたちも「またお待ちしてます！」「またね！」と挨拶するのがお決まりでした。
昨日が常連のおじいちゃんの最後の来店になりました。
閉店告知をしてからありがたいことに毎日が忙しくあわただしく、閉店するという実感がなかったのですが、「元気で！」というおじいちゃんの挨拶に「またね！」と返せなかったことに、急に本当に閉店するんだ！という実感がわいて、寂しくなって涙がでました。
まだ終わりたくないよ〜！と思う反面、なんと残りの営業はたったの2回のようです！
まるで他人事みたいですが、ようやく実感がわいてきました。
みなさんからいただいた愛はとっても大きくて返しきれないほどですが、最後まで楽しく営業して、少しでも幸せな気分になって帰ってもらえるよう！

今朝通勤の信号待ちで、御所の銀杏が真っ黄っ黄になっていたので思わず写真を撮りました。
残りの営業も残すところ３回、当たり前のように毎日通っていた通勤路も、もうあまり通らなくなるかと思うと寂しくなってしまいました涙

この度喫茶ゾウは、11月いっぱいで閉店することとなりました。
七条大宮にある姉妹店のゾウコーヒーも、9月28日を最終日に閉店いたします。
愛知のぞうめし屋が開いた喫茶店が、京都にやってきたのが2019年。
それから6年半もの間、たくさんの方に愛されて、たくさんのスタッフが愛を持って繋いで、ここまで営業することができました。
ぞうめし屋チームは、愛知を拠点に戻します。
京都にある店舗は無くなってしまいますが、喫茶ゾウのメニューが恋しくなったら、名古屋の喫茶ゾウメシに是非。
本店のぞうめし屋では、うちでも提供していたパリパリのクレープも食べられます。
わたしは5年半喫茶ゾウで働いていたので、閉店が心の底からさみしく、閉店後、朝ぼーっとしていたら間違ってここに通勤してしまわないか、今から気がかりなくらいです。
何よりも働いているスタッフたちが、喫茶ゾウの大大大ファンなので、さみしいと思ってくださるみなさんと同じ気持ちです。
だから、閉店までの約3ヶ月、お祭りみたいに過ごせたら嬉しいです！
初めましてでも、久しぶりでも、今週また来てくれたんですか〜なお客さまも、みんな是非遊びにいらしてください。
