Tucked inside the Town Hall Hotel, this two-Michelin-starred gem delivers from the moment you walk in.
The tasting menu blends Chef 's Brazilian and Italian roots, with dishes that are bold, clever, and genuinely memorable.
The wine pairings, led by, who’s passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced Exam with top honours and is working towards her WSET Diploma, were equally impressive.
It’s a premium experience, but perfect for a special occasion, or just if you want to try somewhere that truly delivers 🤩

📍 Canary Wharf, London
From the team behind, Roe is the sister restaurant serving seasonal menus and signature croissant rolls that have been on my radar for a while.
When friends visited from Essex, it was the perfect spot for a catch-up over breakfast.
What we ate 👇🏼
- Royale with cheese -sausage, bacon, walnut ketchup and fried egg. A posh take on a McDonald’s McMuffin! While I enjoyed it, it felt a bit too heavy for me, so I’d probably try something lighter next time.
- The GOAT - goat’s cheese, tomato, spinach and fried egg. Laura’s pick looked incredible, and she said it tasted just as good.
- Truffle ham flatbread - Dani’s choice came topped with eggs and hollandaise sauce. She was a fan.
- Side of crispy hash browns, served with walnut ketchup. The hash browns were great, but the walnut ketchup was a bit too rich for my taste.
Beyond the food, Roe’s interiors are stunning, with a view overlooking the canal that adds to its charm. Definitely worth visiting for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. I’d also love to try their main menu sometime, as I think this might be where they really excel.
That said, I still prefer their other sister restaurant,, which was recently added to the Michelin Guide. I’ve got a full reel on my experience there too, if you want to check it out 😇

📍 Riga and London
We stopped for a quick prosecco and cruffin at Cruffins when we were in Riga, Latvia.
We were drawn to the Snickers and Raspberry Cheesecake cruffins but there were plenty of other tempting flavours, like Passionfruit or Pistachios, plus some savoury options too.
Riga is a great little travel destination, but it’s now much easier to get your hands on one of their cruffins because they’ve recently opened a store on Drury Lane in London! (Do you know the cruffin man…? 👀)

📍 Farringdon
Having made pasta before but never quite cracking ravioli, I booked the advanced filled pasta class at the Pasta Academy in Farringdon, and it was such good fun!
Complimentary antipasti is served on arrival, while your glass gets topped with unlimited prosecco throughout the class. A pasta chef talks you through the techniques and shows you how to level up your pasta game before you are let loose on making your dough (with the chef nearby to rescue you if needed).
You are kitted out with linen aprons and all the tools and get straight into folding, filling and shaping our pasta.
Once everyone is done, the chef cooks the pasta with an accompanying sauce and the whole group sits and eats together, very merry on prosecco by this point.
It's a fun, hands-on activity where you come away feeling accomplished and like you've learned a new skill.

📍 Mayfair, London
Set inside the stunning Grade I listed St Mark’s Church, Mercato Mayfair is always somewhere I love popping into when I’m nearby.
It is a busy one though, so my top tip is to head to, the little wine bar tucked at the back. It’s much calmer, you can grab a glass of wine and you’re still able to bring in any food from the market.
This time we tried the pad thai (pretty average, wouldn’t get it again), but the samosa chaat from the Indian stall fully made up for it. Crispy pastry, masala potato, chutneys, onions, pomegranate and sev, v good!
Right now, for the festive period, they’ve got their on the roof terrace, perfect for cosying up with a mulled wine or hot chocolate.

I was genuinely surprised by how many lovely, trendy cafés and wine bars there were in Riga, as well as plenty of places to try traditional Latvian dishes too.

📍London Stadium
Spent the day eating my way through more wings than I care to admit. At £1.50 a wing, it’s dangerously easy to overdo it.
We tried buffalo classics, Indian-spiced, wings from spots like and … even dessert wings. Sticky toffee + apple crumble on chicken. Somehow not awful!
I was kindly invited by – the team behind my fave Sriracha – so of course I stopped by their stand, tried a few sauces and won a little prize on their coin drop game.
There were drinks from flowing, live music, eating comps and the iconic Wing Fest cap. We had a lovely afternoon!
