PEGUARAの1st Album
『Terra Nova』をリリースします。

PEGUARAは、ブラジル出身のギタリスト Marcelo Kimura と、日本人ピアニスト Shikou Itoによるデュオです。

異なる文化、異なる土地、そして異なる音楽的背景を歩んできた私たちは、
「自由に音を奏でる」という共通の感覚を通して出会いました。

ブラジル音楽の大地の記憶、ジャズの自由、アンビエントの静けさ、そして即興から生まれる一瞬の響き。

それぞれの音が交差し、溶け合いながら、私たちはジャンルにとらわれない新しい音楽の風景を描いています。

PEGUARAという名前には、
“ルーツ”、“土地とのつながり”、そして音楽を通して生まれる“人と人との出会い”への想いを込めました。

先日のワークショップにご参加いただいた皆さま、ありがとうございました😊

今回も内容はかなり濃厚！

ブラジル音楽を演奏するなら知っておきたい大切なことから、その考え方を他のジャンルへ応用する方法まで、実践を交えながら学ぶことができました🎶

特に印象的だったのはアンサンブルの時間✨

その場でアイデアが生まれ、少しずつ形になり、
みんなで演奏しながら曲が出来上がっていく過程を体感できる貴重な時間でした。

そして何より驚いたのは、マルセロ木村の指導力👏

それぞれの楽器の個性を活かしながら、参加者の皆さんがどんどん良い演奏になっていく様子を間近で見ることができました✨

終始笑顔が絶えず、皆さん本当に楽しそうで、
主催者としても嬉しい気持ちでいっぱいでした😊

A primeira vez que ouvi o arranjo do Filó, de “Take Five”, minha cabeça quase “bugou”😂
Depois de alguns anos, sempre quando ouço, aprendo uma coisa nova.

Aqui vai uma variação que fiz para esse arranjo tão icônico.

The music of dear has always influenced me and made me understand that the connection between the instrument and the voice is one of the most important things for those who play and sing. The first time I heard Filó's arrangement of 'Take Five,' my mind almost 'bugged' 😂. After a few years, every time I hear it, I learn something new.
