The white obi felt softer and gentler, and it’s perfect for a day spent with kids ☁️
Today, I chose a gray obi with iris flowers for a more seasonal and polished look for an important meeting.
Kimono is not just clothing.
It’s styling, storytelling, seasonality, and self-expression all together.
And yes… the vintage Dior bag had to come because NYC life means carrying an iPad and water bottle everywhere 💼✨

Wearing a more traditional kimono style for this special evening felt like stepping into a different rhythm of time.
Through takeda zen, we helped curate parts of this experience through Japanese aesthetics, atmosphere, and culture. But more than anything, I simply wanted people to feel something real.
The quiet before the guests arrived.
The flowers.
The music.
The feeling that New York and Japan were somehow connected for a moment.
Our very first event was a success, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who made this night possible.
This is only the beginning.
