The hotel, situated on the corner of an urban plaza, does not resolve the intersection with a rigid edge. Instead, the corner is released, fragmented, and reinterpreted — allowing the architecture to turn, unfold, and continue.
The façade becomes a continuous field, wrapping from one street to the other without interruption. A structural grid expands across both fronts, while deep frames and layered modules dissolve the boundary between the two sides. What could have been a fixed corner transforms into a moment of transition, a hinge within the urban fabric.
By “breaking” the corner — through subtraction, shifting volumes, and spatial depth — the project avoids static geometry and instead produces a fluid perimeter, one that belongs equally to both streets and to the plaza itself.
At ground level, transparency invites the city inward. Above, the rooms align within this ordered grid, and at the top, collective spaces open outward again — completing a vertical sequence from public to private to shared.
An architecture that does not sit on the corner,
but negotiates it, extends it, and ultimately redefines it.

From the very beginning of the project, the relationship between the children’s play space, the city, and the Mosalla was a central concern. Our intention was to extend this connection into the interior of the Mosalla and transform it into an active urban interface.
To achieve this, we introduced a public plaza that mediates between the urban fabric and the main volume of the kindergarten. This plaza gradually detaches from the rigid edge of the city and moves toward the Mosalla, creating a spatial transition rather than a fixed boundary.
Along this movement, a series of arches emerge—constructed as architectural elements of everyday life. These arches provide shaded spaces where children can play freely, while mothers and caregivers can gather, pause, and interact. They are not merely structural forms, but social devices that frame moments of encounter.
