I can’t believe it’s week 13 now and it’s slowly creeping up to the Manchester Marathon. Scared is an understatement. Can’t believe I hit another 5k personal best today of 28 mins and 11 seconds, like wtf!!🥲
Also, the fact the plan said 14k and I actually decided to run further & a moment for the hair too…❤️
It just shows that even when you take a break some weeks it doesn’t impact the whole journey (have to tell myself this every-time I have to skip a workout)👀

There have been both highs and lows but safe to say one of the best years yet!✨
- spent the first two months travelling in SE Asia, saw so many places, experienced everything
- hit 10 years with Arsalaan
- had two hen do’s surrounded by so much love and thoughtful family and friends who planned everything, having everyone together was amazing
- jumped out of my comfort zone in so many different scenarios
- became an ambassador for met so many lovely friends through this too
- became a godmother to my bestie’s son
- full time at the job I love
- ran my second half marathon
- visited Saudi with my Nana and got to spend time with my family
- finding ways to manage my anxiety including therapy
These are my highlights but it also came with lots of lessons and also lows, wishing everyone a great new year and let’s hope 2026 is a good one

I always looked at everyone else’s runs and saw 5 pace, never thinking I’d actually get there, so soon into my marathon training too, just shows how good is!✨
I was meant to do interval training but I only had 30 mins so I thought why not, then saw nearly 5k and was like… hm ok!
Very happy with this result and can’t wait for more runs (who in the, would’ve thought I would be EXCITED TO RUN) lol

1) such an aesthetic studio and the class was mega, only round the corner too!
2) Saturday morning plod, started rainy but ended sunny. Counted this as my long run for the week because I had no other time to fit it in
3) interval training with I can’t believe I was running at a 5:45 pace for some of it
