This week we got really personal and talked about the struggles that come along with living with an autoimmune disease.
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in January of 2024 and it’s been one hell of a journey trying to navigate this space and lessen how to be gentle and give my body the care and attention it needs all while trying to maintain some sense of mental strength.
This by far has been one of the hardest things I’ve dealt with and my journey has been a battle I struggle with in silence, but I think it’s time to speak out.
My goal is to always create a safe space to have hard conversations and this is very vulnerable moment for me. I want to make sure that I create a community that knows it’s ok to discuss the hard things and share resources for others who may be trying to figure out how to turn the page on this chapter as well.
