i had a feeling it was coming, and i didn’t expect to be so emotional, but when i got the news, i think it really hit me because i realized this is the only place i’ve worked at for my entire adult life. i started straight out of college, and worked there for 13 years, so at the moment, it’s hard to imagine what’s next, because i don’t know a life outside of this.
while i also create content in my spare time, i’ll be honest with you that i hardly make any money from it - this is truly a passion project that i do simply because i love it - so to now not have a steady income is freaking me out a bit.
but i’m going to pick myself up and we’re going to keep going, because i know rejection is REDIRECTION and something better is out there for me. in the meantime, i’m going to use this time to hug baby L a little tighter and be more present for her, since i know i’ll never have the blessing of this time with her again.
as much as it hurts right now, i’m choosing to look at this chapter of my life with love, and i know it’s going to be okay.
i’ve missed mixing prints and styling funky outfits, and since disneyland is basically my runway, i thought let’s play dress up and go from 0 to 100 😂
from getting pixie dusted at bibbidi bobbidi boutique to getting to ride jingles at king arthur’s carousel to almost losing her shoe (but thankfully a cast member found it!) to getting another iced honey matcha latte from schmoozies, we had another great mama and baby L disney day 🥹

juggling content creation, a full time job, and now motherhood has changed the way my typical morning routine looks.
after hitting snooze on my alarm a few times, i struggle to take my compression gloves off. trying to be so careful as to not wake up baby L, i slowly drag my body out of bed with the little strength i have left in my hands and wrists.
i head into the bathroom and reach for my toothbrush. i blankly stare off into the not-so-far distance as i brush my teeth for the next two minutes on autopilot.
i then jump into the shower and the warm water gradually brings me back to life. my arthritis seems to go away enough to a point where the pain doesn’t bother me as much. i give myself roughly ten minutes, and then dry up, put my clothes on, and blow dry my hair.
i walk into my home office to power on my work computer and clock in. i run downstairs to pop my breakfast (two mini bubble waffles from trader joe’s, if you’re wondering) into the air fryer and grab an iced coffee i bought earlier in the week out of the fridge. i take a sip, hoping the caffeine will kick in sooner than later.
i go back into my office, sit in my chair, and open microsoft teams, bracing myself knowing there is probably going to be a message from someone who will annoy me (i was right - it was someone from accounting bothering me about “missing” receipts like i don’t do my job). i take a deep breath.
i complete tasks that have come in overnight and early in the morning during these first two hours of the day. it’s usually quiet enough before i get my first phone call, so i can power through my to do list.
i hear baby L’s soft cries coming from our bedroom. it’s 8am. i snap out of my daze, and now my day really begins.

this tour and all the memories i made with my friends at the shows i went to mean so much to me and it was fun getting to relive it all again tonight 🥹 you might even spot me a couple times in the film!
we also got to meet,,, and while we were there and everyone was so sweet! and i also got to see my favorite rockstar again 🥰

a few nights ago i got to meet and i’m still on cloud nine! she hosted a benefit fundraiser for which is a non-profit foster based rescue in LA that helps give sick, injured, abandoned, and forgotten dogs a second chance. many of you know that my own dog is a rescue as well, so getting to support an organization like this really meant the world to me!
i’m so grateful i had the opportunity to thank hilary for the huge impact she’s made in my life all these years, and i even told her she was the first concert i ever went to! she was so kind and even squeezed my hand after we took the picture together. this is what dreams are made of 🥹

i am still in complete and utter disbelief that this magical moment happened last night. i cannot tell you how incredibly honored and grateful i was that (who was hand selected by!) invited me to be his +1 to the world premiere! 😭
i have been manifesting this moment for years and i always told myself someway, somehow i would get to meet the woman whose music changed my life. i didn’t know when or how, but i continued to believe it would happen. the universe really told me, “i gave so many signs” that it was backing me up on this dream 🥲
it was absolutely unreal to see taylor go down the line one by one with each of us in the fan section. what a queen! you can tell she really loves all of her fans and getting to witness that firsthand made me love her even more (i didn’t even know that was possible)! she then came into each theater to say hello before the movie started and i was able to give her a friendship bracelet! ❤️
it was fun getting to relive the concert all over again - we sang at the top of our lungs, we screamed, and we danced like there was no tomorrow - there is nothing like being in a room full of fellow swifties! i am so excited for you to see - whether it’s your first or fifth time getting to watch this concert, you’re in for a treat!
