Mi primer medio y antes de la carrera, cada vez que me preguntaban cuales eran mis expectativas decía lo mismo: o llego sufriendo o todo sale perfecto. Termino con un sabor amargo y con un nudo en la garganta. Por causas fuera de mis manos, regresó el mismo problema en mi isquiotibial izquierdo que ya me había frenado en el Nacional de Primera Fuerza. Por mas que hice todo lo que estaba en mis manos para estar listo y rehabilitado en la linea de salida, no pude terminar la carrera.
Empuje lo mas que pude y llevé esa molestia al limite. Duele porque era mi debut internacional y mi primera vez representando a México 🇲🇽 y en lugar de irme con la satisfacción de dejarlo todo, me voy con esta impotencia extraña, pues estaba seguro que ese problema en los isquios se había ido.
Mi temporada de pista 2025 termina aquí. Un año con muchas altas: rompí la barrera de los 4 minutos en la milla después de 6 años intentando (primer Chihuahuense en la historia y único mexicano del 2025), mejoré mi marca en 1500m después de estar estancado 3 años, y finalmente di el salto al nivel internacional.
Gracias a todos los que me apoyan y están cerca del proceso, sin ustedes no hubiéramos podido dar ese salto este año.
Estoy insatisfecho, frustrado y muy decepcionado de no poder cerrar la temporada como quería. Y nada, termina el primer año del ciclo olímpico, ahora toca descansar un tiempo y regresar mas fuerte.
