As many of you know, I’m mostly a digital artist and have been since 2020….! But recently I bought a sketchbook and have been determined to fill it, and I used my new copic markers to help me with it. It was a learning curve for someone like me who’s basically brand new to this medium, but I LOVED it. I used the sketch markers to color and the acrea markers for details. I always love a little golden finish. I still have lots to learn but I’m having so much fun doing it! #COPICfreestyle #COPICpartner

After I finished up the last illustration for my zodiac series I became possessed with a thought—“What if I made an art book of this?” One month later here we are! It was a bit of an impulsive passion project, but I can’t describe the satisfaction I felt unboxing it and holding a book I published in my hands. There’s nothing like it!

With a total of 28 pages, my Zodiac animal series features initial sketches, color palettes, and final illustrations alongside some information of each zodiac animal featuring their years, traits, characteristics, and compatibilities. This makes for a great coffee table book or gift for any art enthusiast! I’ll be debuting this book at SJMade Friend Fest and selling at future events and online soon!

The only thing I enjoy drawing more than pretty girls are pretty girls who can kill you 😈 I’ve seen tons of tattoo designs with this similar concept, but wanted to make my own version of it. I love her so much, and I’m so glad a lot of you guys loved her too! She sold out in just a couple hours at Cherry Blossom Festival Saturday and I regretted not stocking up even more on her 😭 This print and my hoodies were my best sellers! When I drew her hair, I referenced a lot of Demon Slayer art, specifically Nezuko and Daki. I love how the artist draws curls so sharp and angular, so I tried to channel that into her hair. (I think the Daki influence might be a little too on the nose 🙈) And then I’ve been dying to draw an oni mask 👹👺 They’re just cool looking.
