After my breakup last year I decided to restart my solo series as there were so many fun things I had planned and didnโt want being alone to stop me from doing them!

Privileged to have visited some amazing restaurants last year including some spots that have been on my list for years! Doing a top 5 took a lot of deliberation but these restaurants are ones that blew me away!
๐ฃ- visited in April and knew it would be top 5 instantly! Everything we ate was gorgeous and I cannot stress enough that you need to save room for dessert ๐ฎโ๐จ
๐ฅ- press for champagne was an iconic moment Iโve wanted to do for years so really happy I could tick it off my list! You have to get their signature Wellington & Mash! The food is exceptional and definitely a celebration occasion โจ
๐ซ๐ท- felt like I was back in France with the most gorgeous garlic butter Escargot (better without the flambรฉ), Pomme Dauphinoise & Lobster Thermidor! ๐คค
โจ- this spot blew me away instantly with their Focaccia & Guinness Treacle with the treacle honey butter! We also loved the Steak with Honey Whiskey sauce & the fact that thereโs a hidden bar downstairs ๐๐ฝ
๐ฅฉ- unique Wagyu experience where everything is cooked in front of you and you get to learn about the different premium cuts before trying them! ๐

๐บ- one for the girlies! Super aesthetic, great dishes and they have heaters & blankets so ideal for this weather!
โ๏ธ- their brunch set menu is so aesthetically pleasing and fun! We loved trying new flavour combinations!
- ๐ Brags breakfast and Brams pancakes are both stunning dishes!
- ๐ฅ Located in Liverpool Street, stunning food whether you go for the breakfast menu or A La Carte & the interior as well as views are unreal!
๐ Located in Hackney, absolutely loved the brunch here & the mocktails are delicious too ๐
๐ฅ located in Leyton, they do a delicious Benedict served in a toasted croissant!
- ๐ฅ Located in Hampstead, this spot does brunch so well! Their fritters and granola pot were my favs ๐
- ๐ณ Located in York, the โAll roseโ is one of the best brunch dishes I had last year, they also do a really cute cinnamon bun latte!

Glad we successfully made it to the last dump of 2025!! December was a beautiful month for the food scene as there were so many festive markets & winter warmers! (Iโve left out the food Iโve eaten in Lisbon as that deserves a separate post!)

โจ ๐ณ- one of the best brunches I had in 2025!!
โจ โ๏ธ- the caramel latte was delicious and each sweet treat we tried was gorgeous!
โจ ๐ฆ - The lobster Thermidor with the steak was a real treat!
โจ ๐ซ- one of my fav eats all year! The cheese fondue sauce is unreal with the sausages, I visited twice! ๐คค
โจ - loved the topping stand more than the hot chocolate! ๐คญ
โจ ๐ฃ- completely understand why people get fish & chips at winter wonderland as it was so crispy, the calamari was also incredible!
โจ ๐- the carbonara pizza was delicious!
โจ โจ- we loved these Yorkshire burrito wraps! All the best parts of a roast ๐
What a rollercoaster year this has been!

Iโm trying out some of the most famous hot chocolates in London to see if they really are worth it ๐
Todayโs stop was for their famous hot chocolate with chocolate whipped cream!
I did love the Whipped Chocolate Cream concept and being able to eat it with a spoon however I wish it was more sweet!
This is another hot chocolate tailored to those who prefer a weaker hot chocolate which was surprising to me as I assumed a chocolate store would have a higher chocolate content!
Side note, if youโre meeting up with friends and family for a late Christmas celebration, they have really nice gifts to choose from, so check out their collection!

We were onto Order of the Phoenix and we had the best picky bits to accompany the film!
Starting off with a Baked Camembert with Balsamic Onion Chutney and Toasted Crusty Bread, followed by a Mini Cheeseboard with Crackers, Meats, Grapes & Olives! ๐คค
For a sweet treat we had a Hot Chocolate station using and different toppings, Popcorn, Waffles and Chocolate Strawberries ๐
